[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never really given much thought to the differences in TP, but there really is a difference. My experience with competitor brand, and the sandpapery stuff they we have at work. With the regular brand we get at home, I find that I have to use several squares because although it is soft and does the job, it tends to be kind of thin, which if not careful can result in a very unpleasant experience. I'll admit that softness isn't a huge factor for me in deciding on TP, but Charmin Ultra Strong somehow manages to combine soft and comfy with strength and effectiveness for a comfortable and clean wipe that doesn't smear. This toilet paper is by far one of the best I have ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper is extra soft and i can see it just flushes out quickly. I had problems with few brands which clogs my toilet - not good to see them - but these rolls do not have those issues. Like the extra softness too!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My regular bathroom tissue is nothing compared to Charmin tissue. This is the truth. Charmin is soft and valuable. I can have just a little bit and leave myself satisfied compare to my tissue that I had before. The softness is the number one quality of Charmin. Another thing is that Charmin tissue doesn't go to several pieces when I try to tear some. My previous one was a disaster on doing this, so I got very satisfied when I received Charmin for the test and decide to go with it for future uses.

Even trying to rip the paper, it takes a considerable amount of effort relative to regular toilet paper. The issue, however, is the softness of the product. Although not quite the extent of stock toilet paper, the Charmin Ultra Strong does not have the most comforting feel to it. From my experience, I would choose a softer toilet paper over the strength of this product because of the comfort it provides. If someone is looking for strength over comfort, then the Ultra Strong is definitely for you. If, however, you prefer softness and comfort, another product may be better equipped.

We enjoyed the absorbency, the strength, the comfort, and the price. We've always seen the commercials for this company but usually buy the store brand value packs of bath tissue. We are happy to get the extra value with this product.

I won't continue to use this product after the campaign as I prefer to use something with a softer touch. It was nice not having to double up on the amount used to ensure effectiveness, but again... I prefer the Ultra Soft varieties out there to this product. Charmin's prices also keep me from purchasing their product as it's literally money flushed down the drain.

It is a tough and dense toilet paper, but not so much so that it feels "paddy" or like you're wasting money if you take too much. The best part is that it is available at most stores near us and can be bought in various-sized packs depending on what we can carry.

I bought the Basic once and I will never again. Figured the Ultra Strong might be superior to the others. It was like any other bathroom tissue though, nothing to go crazy about. I won't be purchasing the brand unless there's an amazing sale and I have a coupon. The price of Charmin is like gold, but the quality that you'd think you were paying for isn't there and I wouldn't recommend it.

Surprisingly, I actually prefer some of the other brands we have purchased lately. I thought it was actually too thick and I thought the thickness took away from the softness. I prefer my toilet paper to be a little thinner and a little softer.
