[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roll lives up to the "ultra strong" name. It's sturdy and tough, but not quite as soft as some of Charmin's other items. Even so, it's still really comfortable, and I think this is a front-runner for my brand of choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a current user of Charmin Basic bathroom tissue, I was happy to try another Charmin product. While Charmin Ultra Strong is not as soft as either Charmin Ultra Soft or the previous Charmin red packaged tissue paper, it is much softer than many cheaper toilet tissue brands. I found Charmin Ultra Strong to be comparable in softness to Charmin Basic. When dry, Charmin Ultra Strong lives up to its name. Compared to the single ply Charmin Basic, Ultra takes more force to tear. However when wet, it breaks up easy and does not clog the toilet bowl. Where Charmin Ultra falters in in the size of the rolls. While each Charmin Basic double roll is 264 sheets, Charmin Ultra Strong is only 165 sheets. Even though the package says use up to 4x less, I found myself using the same amount as before, so the rolls ran out much quicker. While Charmin Ultra Strong is a fine product and lives up to the Charmin name, I am I going to stick with Charmin Basic as it meets my my overall needs for a toilet tissue at a price I can afford.

Some are too flimsy, some tear too easily, some are too rough, some have rolls that seem to run out after just one use! This new product from Charmin has been the best I've used yet! It's durable, it's a double roll, it's still soft but gets the job done with fewer squares, and most importantly, it doesn't roll or leave residue! Best choice I've made so far! Thanks, Charmin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our septic system is very sensitive to what we put in it but this is the first double-ply paper that it seems to like. Best of all the whole family likes it too so we're definitely going to be buying it once our current stock of single-ply paper runs out. It's amazing how something so simple can be so greatly appreciated by everyone from our 4-year old to our 65+ parents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So as far as toilet paper that holds up to the job at hand, it is one of the strongest toilet papers I have used. No finger poking if you know what I mean. Holds together very well for it's intended purpose. However, if there are some of you out there that are like me, using it to blow your nose in lieu of tissue paper is not putting it to good use. Strong definitely excludes this paper from being soft. While it is not "papery" like cheap TP, this TP cannot take the place of some soft tissues for blowing noses. If strong is what you are looking for this is the one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin is a great toilet paper. I've been using this stuff for years now. Blue or red packaging you can't go wrong. This happens to be pushing the red, stronger, version, but the blue, softer works as well. The stronger is indeed stronger, never breaks, and the blue is truly soft. Not that the red is rough by any means. Either way, Charmin Toilet Paper is a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received a bzz kit of charmin ultra strong toilet paper in the mail to try and assess. It is VERY strong toilet paper and gets all your toilet paper needs done without ripping and you use less per wipe. However, I felt that the toilet paper felt strange on my behind. It was not hard like cardboard paper but it was more akin to a paper towel with raised bumps/patterns. I would not change from my regular charmin. I prefer softer toilet paper and this was even more tough than the regular stuff you would find in a restaurant or at work. I would pass on this if given an option in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the greatest tissue paper ever! Paper is always nice and soft and you never have to worry about any unexpected rips or tears. With the paper having a good thickness and quality you can also use much less at a time, saving money and trees in the long run. This is the only paper allowed in my house.

For many years, my family has chosen this tissue because it was worth the price. However, our last 12=48 package was smaller, weaker (shredded easier), very poorly perforated and hardly even embossed. So disappointed we might go to cheaper generic for same quality.
