But,I really enjoyed trying this other line of Charmin products because I have never tried it before. This will allow me to share about another Charmin product. Here is my comparison: - Not as soft as Charmin Ultra Soft but that would be obvious - Nice and strong - Does not fray or ball like other tp's will - Good quality tp (nice and thick, etc) - Perforations work better than Charmin Ultra Soft, consistently tear well You may think I'm crazy but I could totally see having two types of tp in the bathroom -- one would be Charmin Ultra Soft and used for the obvious purposes. The other would be Charmin Ultra Strong and you would use it in situations where you would not want the tp to ball or fray.

Now, I'm not real obsessed with toilet paper, but I'm married to a woman who insists on using only Charmin Ultra Soft. After trying the Ultra Strong, I can find some pros and cons. This paper does the job well, as most toilet papers do. When you use it, you can really feel the quality of the paper. This stuff is not going to rip through and make a mess of your hand. However, by giving it such strength, Charmin sacrificed on softness. It's a little harsh on my bottom after getting so used to the Ultra Soft. I think it's not as rough as many of the cheaper alternatives, but I think Ultra Soft is still the way to go over the Ultra Strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love this toilet paper. I have never tried it and always have used a cheaper store brand, well never again. It truly is ultra strong. Even when you blow your nose, and it doesn't fall apart or leave a mess all over your face, which usually happens to my children. It is fairly priced and worth the little extra then the store brand that I was using.

Last year after using the same brand for 6 or 7 years, my girlfriend told me she didn't like my toilet paper, so I shopped around. I felt that while the big name brand that I was using was strong and reasonably soft. I tried several other name brands and even a couple of store brands. I finally settled on a store brand as a good mix of strength, softness and price. For this review, I have developed the first ever Toilet Paper Rating system. To put this into perspective, my original name brand (I'll call TP_A) was an 8 out of 10 for strength, a 6 for softness and a 3 on price (it was kind of expensive). The store brand I was using, I will call TP_B and the Charmin Ultra Strong I will call TP_C. Here is how they stack up: Brand Strength Soft Price Overall Rating (add scores) TP_A 8 6 3 17 TP_B 6 7 7 20 TP_C 7 7 5 19 While I feel the Charmin Ultra Strong is slightly better than what I was using, the store brand beats it on price. Overall I was happy with the Charmin, but the added price doesn't justify a spectacular review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the Charmin Ultra Strong a few days ago. I wanted to go through a whole roll before deciding how I felt about the toilet paper. It is so soft and plush that I feel like I am using way more than I really am. This was also a concern of mine. Since it is so think and plush that it would clog my toilet, but Charmin has the septic safe symbol and this makes me feel fantastic. Not only am I using plushy toilet paper but it makes my bottom feel great. I hooked and I am ready to buy a whole case.

It's all the same right? WRONG! This TP is strong, you can feel it. It's strong but soft enough for your gentle spots. I've been converted. This TP has a quality that makes it worth the price.

My wife usually buys angel soft because of the price but it might be time for a serious upgrade. I liked the soft texture but I'm not sure the thickness would do well for someone with a septic tank. We recently bought a home with one and we were advised to stick to a 1 ply toilet paper. I might have to hide a roll of this and save it for myself on special occasions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was reluctant to try " ultra strong" thinking that it might be like canvas. I was pleasantly surprised at how soft it actually is. There is no sacrifice of absorbency, and less product is used per job. I normally use Charming Basic, which is good, but could easily justify any price difference to upgrade to Charming Ultra Strong I could find nothing negative to report. The extra strength is an added bonus to a soft, easy to use and concern- free product.
