Crystal Clear Picture!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips 50" Class 4K Ultra HD is a TV I needed for a my bedroom. I needed an nice and inexpesive TV. This TV was perfect for what I needed. It was arrived nicely packaged in a box along with the store boxing, therefore it was nicely packaged and protected from delivery. Very little waste. TV was easy to setup and install. I was able to read through the quick setup guide and use within minutes I was able to watch. The picture is very nice and clean, sound is fantastic. The setting guide was easy to use and navigate though all the available apps. Setting up and adding my google accounts was also easy to login and watch. I highly recommend the Philips 50" Class 4K Ultra HD. Great value for the dollar.
Great Picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this 50 inch LED TV in our sun room and it is awesome. Probably a little large for the room size but we still really like the quality of the picture and the features a Smart TV offers. Have not figured all of it out yet... but even just using just it as a TV is great. All of other televisions are not of this size or quality but for right now we will use this room the most and use to using it to the fullest.
Great TV for small space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this TV for our bedroom and so far have loved it! The picture is great, very crisp and clear. The sound is my only MINOR complaint, but I do really mean minor! The sound isn't necessarily bad, but it isn't great either. We originally thought we would just use a sound bar with it, but we have gotten use to it with time and don't feel we need it any more. The ability to customize and download the apps you want is great. We are currently connected to Hulu, Netflix, Vudu, HBO, and Disney+, but there are many more to choose from!
Absolutely beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is amazing! Since I've never owned one like it before, I had no idea of what to expect, but I'm glad that this is my first. At 43 inches, the display is crystal clear, and I really like the shape of the remote included with the device. It's pretty light for a television this size, and thin, which was unexpected, but really, really convenient. Definitely give this a try if you're looking for a good-sized tv with smart tv capabilities.
Wonderful Picture Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to upgrade the old TV. Got this one, since it was the largest one that would fit in the TV stand. The picture quality is great. We had some issues with teh remote - mostly because we are "old" and were too used to our old remote! I think we have finally figured it out! My husband says his only issue was you need 2 people to put the legs on the TV - it was a bit weird the way you had to screw them in. But if you have 2 people no issues. We got it set up fairly quickly with our netflix, Hulu, and other digital subscriptions.
Perfect Philips 50" Class 4K Ultra HD tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very light weight, I was surprised as to how much lighter it was than the smaller flat screen I was replacing it with. Easy wall mounting, only thing was the tv mounting screws that I needed to attach to my wall mount were metric, my existing ones were standard. Set up was super easy. Picture quality is very clear and not grainy. My favorite aspect of this tv is the quick buttons on the remote to change from Netflix and use the Google assistant the push of a button. They'res also a microphone on the remote to use voice commands. Would definitely recommend this tv.
Easy Setup and great Picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great TV for our Living Room. The TV came packaged very securely and I was able to set it up in minutes. When I say minutes, I mean like 15 minutes. It was that easy. The picture is very crisp, vivid and bright. Connected to my WiFi, entered my Google Account and I was off . . . using the different apps Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc. and searching for everything and anything. And with Voice command, love it! Looked at a few 4K visuals (stunning), but can't wait to check out a full movie. Awesome TV!
Nice picture and features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been keeping an eye out for an AndroidTV and am happy to find the 5000 series made by Philips. Not only does it have a good picture, but it brings the power of a Android to your TV with a lot of nice features. This 43” smart TV has a vibrant 4K Ultra HD picture with 2160p. It also has HDR 10 which helps provide more picture detail. It has great contrast between blacks, whites and other colors. I can really notice the difference between 4K and 1080p! Marketed as an AndroidTV, it has some great functionality included right out of the box. Google Assistant is built in, making it very easy to control the TV with your voice. Just click and hold the button on the remote and do things like turn the volume up or down, ask about the weather, and more. I can even control other compatible smart home devices like my smart lighting! Chromecast is included so you can stream content from your phone or tablet to your TV without having to buy an extra dongle. Google Play is also included, which means you can download many of your favorite apps, from Netflix to Hulu, etc. The TV allows for playback formats in H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, H.265/HEVC, MPEG2, MPEG4. You can even download the media player of your choice and play video files via a USB storage device, or stream to your heart's content. The setup was fairly quick. Linking your Google account makes is easy to personalize your experience. UI was able to complete setup using my android phone. The user interface is great, and you can move and delete applications with ease. You can also set up parental controls if desired. Although I'm pleased with this TV thus far, the remote is a bit too big and can lag sometimes. It would be nice if there was an additional remote with a keyboard as well, or even a game pad with a compatible list of games. Also, the leg stands are a bit flimsy, so I ultimately plan on mounting this to my bedroom wall. Overall, if you're looking for an AndroidTV to run your favorite streaming apps, this may be the one for you. From a good picture to Chromecast and Google Play, it places access to a lot of media at your fingertips!
Impressed with this Android
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart TV does everything I wanted it to and even a few things I didn't even consider. Set up was a breeze, tv is ultra light, and I was up and running in no time. Love the option to listen via my ear pods!! I'm often on my balcony and can see the TV but can't necessarily hear it. Which reminds me, the customizable close captioning options as far as choosing font and font size are fantastic! Excellent for when I want to read the news but don't necessarily want to hear it. Picture is crisp and bright and utterly ridiculous when u watch the available 4K content!! Voice command is very effective and had no trouble executing my commands. I used to struggle with figuring out which "input" I needed to be using, but the voice commands eliminate that by just opening the app you request. Downloaded Sirius XM and had it connect with my Bose speaker, which as an avid music listener is phenomenal! The amount of features that this tv boasts are numerous and I am still learning and discovering. Very pleased with the product and the quality. I am not a droid fan but this collaboration from Philips and Google definitely makes a great impression. I would recommend and look forward to seeing what they come up with in the future.
Beautiful picture!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has a fantastic quality of picture. It's very easy to set up and has voice controls which is awesome for the tv itself. You can also connect it to your google account. It's high def and definitely worth the purchase in my opinion. You won't be disappointed! For a smart TV it is definitely the easiest set up and easiest to control remotely so far from what smart TVs I have used in the past.
