[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a 'Smart' TV. It has the ability to connect to the internet and stream content. It has a digital tuner for OTA (Over The Air). Pros- TV OTA Tuner is very good. When setting up the TV, it scanned looking for local channels. It was very accurate and quickly was ready to go. I used an old pair of Rabbit Ears for the antenna. I live on a hill. But I used that same antenna on a different TV and got less channels. So I can say the Phillips tuner seems better. The Smart TV part of this unit is run on Android TV. This operating system is OK. It gives me most of what I need. If anyone has an Android phone, you will be familiar with this Operating System. I used my Google Gmail login and my YouTube and other things were synched. It comes pre installed with Netflix and some other apps. You can go into the App Store and install other Apps as needed. I have never experienced a 4K TV and I have to say I like it. I have watched some YouTube Videos in 4K and noticed a big difference. You need a fast internet connection, so be sure you have one. At least 25 megabits of bandwidth, just for the 4K. The Wifi connected and I have had no problems with disconnects. My Wifi is fast enough for 4K. I would recommend if someone is watching a lot of 4K streaming, to use a ethernet cable. This TV comes with an ethernet port. It is much more stable. but I haven't had any trouble with Wifi. Your mileage may vary. The Remote buttons work very well and are responsive. Putting the battery compartment back on is a little tricky. Be sure once you re-seat it, to slide it forward toward the top of the remote. Then it will lock in place. The Buttons are positioned well, so you can feel around and find them. This remote does not light up. The picture, no matter if using Roku, Android apps, or OTA, is amazing. The brightness and richness of colors are awesome. Bluetooth works pretty good. My headset has a bit of latency, so I choose not to use it. If you want to use a BT headset, be sure and get a low latency (APTX) type headset. There is a 3.5mm jack for a headset. I use an extension cable and use a wired headset. It works very well. I use this TV in my home office. My office tends to get warm with my computers and location to the sun. This TV does not get too hot and I have not noticed my room any warmer because of it. Cons - No fault of the TV, but the Android system itself. YouTube sometimes does not play a video. I have to get out of the app and back in. This is very random and not often. It is probably the app that is provided by Google, so again, not the TV's fault. An app update will probably fix this. Amazon Prime Videos are not available in the app store. I have not figured out how to get it installed. I have a Roku that I was using on a different TV, so when I want to watch Prime Videos, I have to use the Roku. This is not the TV's fault, but something to do with Google and Amazon. Hopefully they resolve their differences so I don't have to switch to Roku to watch. The Remote as I said above is good. The only qwerky thing is most of the controls are at the top of the remote that I use often. But when I want to fast forward, I have use the buttons at the very bottom. They are easy to find, but would have been nice to have them near the main control buttons above. I trained myself to use them, so no worry, just qwerky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Philips 4k Ultra Android smart TV. This TV replaced an 11 year old 60' TV that was in the living room. The picture quality is so nice on this TV, things have never looked better. The sound quality is amazing. The Android smart features are great. It has access to the Google App store and I was able to get all the apps I wanted download. The mic on the remote works well, just don't have multiply people talking at the same time and try to speak clearly. Mounting the TV to the wall was super easy, the TV was so much lighter than the one we were replacing. I believe this is a perfect TV for people who need an upgrade and for people who are cord cutters.

This tv has brilliant sharp pictures, the sound is perfect for the bedroom with no sound bar needed. The clear sharp pictures are amazing , with great quality sound without any soundbar makes this tv a must have, 43" is the perfect size for the bedroom , it feels like it's bigger than that though, I highly recommend this 4k Hd tv from Phillips, I'm going to be getting their larger 55" for my main living room in the near future. The remote is a nice size with a one touch option for Netflix and Vudu and the tv has google assistant build in and has all the apps also, making this the perfect tv to get.

This is the most outstanding TV that I have ever owned. The picture quality is the best when compared to others. The 4K makes everything so lifelike. The sound quality is perfect as well. I love that is connects directly to my phone and I am able to watch the movies on my Google play account. The graphics are amazing and the sound is awesome. I honestly love this TV. It is even perfect for a bedroom TV or for a kid. I would definitely buy this brand from now on. Absolutely love it. Plus it is so easy to sit up that you can get it for a grandparent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only been using the Phillips 50 inch Class 4K Ultra HD Android Smart LED tv with google assistant for a couple days but I'm very impressed. The features are amazing. Great picture quality and sound is perfect. I didn't even have to buy a sound bar to be able to hear it, like I've had to in the past for other bigger TVs. The google assistant feature is very helpful and useful, and set up was a breeze!

First I connected to WI-FI, then I set up a Vudu account and opened a movie. The sound quality is poor and resembles a pair $1 headphones or a radio. I tried switching between standard and movie in the sound settings and it only made a slight difference. It was easy to pair my Bluetooth headphones to it. The picture quality is about standard for this type of TV and could be improved. The menu options include LIVE TV, Google Play (Store, Movies, and other apps), YouTube, and more. The layout is very simple and makes it easy to connect through Google. Overall, I give it 3 stars for the sound and picture quality.

After much comparison and deliberation I decided to purchase this tv. It was simple to unbox and assemble. The process of setup was simple using the included instructions. The screen is perfect and the picture is very clear. The sound is good. I love the bonus added feature of the voice controlled remote. There are also tons of choices of apps for music, games, as well as the tv related ones. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone is the market for a smart led tv at a great price!
