As one who cooks, this is an odd pie. They did much very well, but added so much junk as to ruin it. The crust is alright, not great, but fine for mass produced. Then they added a vanilla glaze that covered up the taste of what had been an OK element. The filling is the same. The fruit is flavorful, not enough as a percentage, but very tasty. Then they add too much spice, good combination, but too much. Perhaps it was designed to stand out from the rest, rather than sticking with tradition and being very good at it. It is a very good try, but ended up tasting like a Gas Station treat. Those who do not cook will probably be very happy with it. It IS flavorful.

I just want to write a review that I purchased the peach pie from Sam's here in Shenandoah, Texas on Sunday. My family and I had it for dessert on last night. Let me tell you the whole pie was gone within a hour my children love the pie. This is the best peach pie they ever had from a store; the crust was buttery and flaky. They didn't have the sweet potato pie but hopefully they'll have the sweet potato pie next time I go there.

I am a chef and caterer. I tried this pie and found it refreshingly different. Not boring like your average peach pie. This pie is creatively good. It wowed me. I was shocked because from the picture it appears to be a store-baked pie but taste is much fancier. The crust is good but not absolutely amazing like most store-bought pies, but the combination of peaches and spices is absolutely delicious. I don't understand people who want the same thing over and over and over. Sam's please keep this pie I will buy it, and I recommend it!

Can't taste any peach, it's all cinnamon/spice. So disappointing.

Too much spice. Crust, very blah.

The pie is really good, my only thought is that is wpuld would be even better as a peach cobbler!

This pie has a nice texture and awesome flavor. It is definitely a must-try.
