It makes the diaper fit more securely and comfortably around the waist while still allowing plenty of movement. The stretch helps prevent gaps and keeps everything in place, even during crawling, climbing, and running around. After using these, I am never going back to my old diapers.

And has the little tab that you use to roll it up and keep it close after use. Its definitely a recommendation I gave to parents.
