I have a very wiggly baby boy and that is necessary so that there are no blowouts or diapers falling off. These stay put no matter how wiggly he gets! They are very soft, and super absorbent. The older diapers held better than the new rebranded ones. A size 2 older diaper held up better than a new size 3. I dont like the white bands because its harder to find them when quickly changing baby. It used to be almost leak proof but now finding myself having to deal more with baby blowout than before. Plus prices have been marked up. So a bit disappointed now with having used mm diapers for 3 kids now
