I returned it bc it leaked water under the unit and the coffee grounds were a terrible mess inside where it brews and drips and it took me two hours to clean it up enough to send it back. After reading other reviews I am going to try it again bc in at least 25+ comments on Facebook only one other person got a leaky one.

I have been looking for a while for just this type of machine that would grind fresh pods for my coffee. Honestly the Kurig pods have gotten ridicously expensive and are a terrible waste issue for the environment. Now I can buy a great bag of beans and have them perfectly ground directly into a reusable cup. If by chance I want to buy some alternative Kurig pods this machine gives me an option. This machine grinds the beans perfect and makes a perfect cup of coffee. I love this machine and thrilled to have found it!

I love the feature of grinding and then using the single serve cups. It was a learning curve for my husband, but ultimately works very well. The only reason there are not 5 stars is that the pour time is slower than we are used to, and the reservoir for the water is small requiring daily filling.

Overall I love this machine. I have a small Kitchen and it does not take up a lot a space. I love the ability to have fresh ground coffee or a pod or use loose coffee. The only thing I hope to see is an enhancement to stop or some how have the ability to catch and re-use the excess ground coffee that comes out after you remove the basket. It is cumbersome to have to keep cleaning the excess but it is also kind of a waste of coffee too over time of course. Other than that I live this machine.

I cannot ever get my coffee strong enough with this coffee maker. Ive tried packing the coffee to be able to add more coffee grounds. Stopping the machine early. So the flavor is never consistent. Even the pods come out weak. I guess it adds to much water

As the late-riser of the household my first cup of coffee had been brewed hours earlier and sat around in the coffeepot all morning. Now I get a freshly ground, freshly brewed cup of coffee whenever I want one. Easy to grind, easy to brew, works with K-Cups as well. Compact size takes up less counter space, and looks good. Very happy with my purchase!

Unless you like grounds in your coffee then do not buy this coffee maker. The grinder part of the coffee maker works fine but when you to use it with a k cup the needle doesnt just poke a clean hole to let the water through it rips through the top of the k cup spreading the grounds throughout the interior of the unit and putting grounds in your coffee. After using it just 2 times I had to clean out the unit with q tips. Tried using it again right after cleaning it thoroughly but still the grounds end up in the cup..forget it.

I love this single serve. I bought this to replace my other Cuisinart which has both the pot and single serve. I realized I rarely use the pot and wanted something more streamlined. I wasn't a fan of Kuerig but then I found this by Cuisinart. Having the other one from them I knew I would be happy with this one. The only downside I have found and the reason for 4 stars is that it's messy. The grinder gets grounds all around on the machine and surrounding area to the left, and when brewing it gets splashes of coffee on the right side. But hopefully they can find ways to improve that in the future. The coffee is fantastic and so very convenient to be able to use k-cups or other ground coffee in addition to the fresh ground coffee. No regrets with my purchase.

great little coffee pot but sometimes you get more steam coming from brewing than coffee. Not sure how to fix that. Also, not always when I press 8oz twice to get a full cup do I get a full cup. However, it is much better than the coffee maker I had before this one.

Things I like about this grind and brew coffee maker. First yes you can grind whole beans for great coffee. Second you can skip the grinding and just use K cups. Third it's easy to use. Fourth it's relatively fast. Things I don't like about it. I wish the water reservoir was on the side instead of in the back. It's hard reach because I have the coffee maker on a shelf. Second, I always seem to get coffee grounds falling out of the reusable cup after I grind the beans. Maybe there is a way to have just a little less grounds in that cup.
