I love the simplicity that comes with using this coffee maker. it's much easier to keep clean and use compared to other coffee makers that have internal mechanisms that grind the coffee within the machine, making cleaning almost impossible. The reusable pod is perfect, and i also use other coffee pods without issue! My coffee beans stay fresh and the water container holds enough ounces so i don't need to worry about adding water after each cup.

I've been using the machine for about three weeks now and so far all is good. I have only used the grind side of the device - no pre-bought pods. I did purchase paper filters for the pod, as I thought there were too many grounds getting through the mesh filter, and these have solved that problem.

This works great for single-serve brewing, whether from fresh beans via the burr grinder or from a K-cup. I'm the only person in my household that drinks coffee, and only one cup a day, so it's perfect for me. I have a friend who owns a roastery and I've wanted a way to enjoy his beans without the waste of guessing how much to grind for my single cup. This machine grinds the perfect amount directly into the filter for my single cup brew. I love it!

I live alone and only make one cup of coffee at a time. Using fresh ground beans and a french press was a pain so I converted to instant coffee. Now that I have the single grind and brew I have the best cup of coffee, every cup. I use filtered water so the full rich taste of great freshly ground beans is even better. The unit is easy to use and maintain. It doesn't take up much space on my little kitchen counter and it looks good. I love it.

Perfect for my coffee, but my husband doesn't like the bottom sediments in his coffee. I'd return it if I didn't have to pay shipping. I like the grinder but don't like the fact that I have to rinse the pod cup every time I make a cup, it should've come with at least two. I've had several Cuisinart coffemakers and was very happy with them, but not this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm happy with this product and the quality of coffee it puts out daily. I did have trouble getting through the instructions after opening the box. For that I'm taking away a star - as I felt frustrated with initially trying to get this product to work for me. Now I use it daily as it freshly grinds beans for me and makes me a delightful cup of coffee at my preferred size every morning. I have not yet used a commercially purchased coffee pod yet, but perhaps will in the future.

I purchased this coffee maker approximately a week ago. I had been using aeropress and got tired of it. I like the idea that you can grind your beans to make your coffee pod. The only thing I don't like is cleaning out the pod and the mess that the grinder makes. I think I'm going to opt for pre-made pods again. Brewing is fine coffee tastes great.

The concept is amazing. The execution is miserable. The grinder grinds too much for the basket it comes with. I have not found a way to adjust it. The grounds make a huge mess. Great idea but they should have fine tuned the mechanics of the machine before they launched it.

Was very excite because we love fresh ground coffee in the morning and more excited that when in a hurry we had one machine that would also do pods. But after the second cup using a pod the coffee pod exploded and if you ever had to clean up wet hot grounds all over the counter it was not pretty. We tried everything possible trying to convince ourselves were the the dumb ones. To no avail and returned the machine. The second one exploded on the first try. Thus our relationship with Cuisinart ended there.

I purchased the grind and brew all in one coffee maker, hoping that it would be replace a stand alone coffee grinder. Once coffee beans were put in the grinder and the machine was turned the grinder would grind the beans however all of the ground coffee was not secured in the grinder. When the grinder completed grinding I would have to clean and wipe up coffe grounds under and around the coffee maker. The ground coffee needs to be contained so it does not spill out of the grinder creating a mess each time I made a cup of coffee. I returned the coffee maker to the store for refund.
