Battery Dies too fast

I truly love this Garmin but it dies after a day. The first week I had it, it lasted 10 days and since then it’ll charge fully, say I have 11 days of battery and then die the next day. Ive tried everything to fix the battery or settings to use minimal battery but nothing works. After three weeks I give up!

Sad!

Loved it until the battery life sucked! Had the watch just over a year, and loved it. Then all of a sudden battery just dies in less then a day when it used to last 5 days! GPS was great and loved the lifting features that counts your sets. I want to get another but worry about the battery doing the same thing. This is an expensive watch for the battery not to last.....

In LOVE!!Left my "fruit" watch with ZERO regrets!

Left my "fruit" watch for Garmin. Absolutely LOVE it!! Size, shape and functionality. It's easy to learn and use. Paired well with my iPhone, and works seamlessly with my Edge. Best of all? The battery life! 7+ days (It would easily last 10) I truly don't see myself returning to the fruit watch.

Great Features!

I bought my watch a month ago and love it! Understanding my sleep and how my diet has affected it is amazing! I love knowing how my body recovers. Only thing that is way off is calories burned during some of the exercise modes - I don't worry about those as much as my step count!

Didn't connect

This was my first watch I purchased, sadly I only used it for about 30 minutes, It would not connect to my phone after months of research sadly I returned it and will wait for another sale to repurchase it,(Yes I asked support, restarted, everything) as I bought on special and it went up to regular price. The color was everything and it was not heavy I am 4'11'' and it fit just fine!

Not happy

Very precise but aimed at the young.

I love my Venu 3S, but it is a bit more complex than my previous smart watches. Not that it is bad, just an increase in my learning curve. I have been using AI, in the form of Microsoft's CoPilot, to work my way through my questions. I am interested in improving my sleep. With my previous smart watches, I usually got a good sleep rating, but with the Garmin, I have consistently gotten a poor rating. CoPilot tells me that Garmin's algorithm is aimed at people in their 30s. I am 78 years old, which is why I probably rate poorly. I would like to suggest that Garmin expand its algorithm to include those of us at the older end of the age spectrum. Mary Schaefer

My Second Garmin Watch

My original watch was wearing out. I didn't look at any other brands but researched Garmin diligently for an upgrade that was right for me. Chose the Venu 3S over the Fenix 8 by a narrow margin. Still learning the new aspects but loving my decision. Really like the new features and the old ones with new twists/graphics. Only wish at this point is that syncing to phone was easier and we got notifications of software updates instead of finding out by needing to re-sync.

Too easy to delete workouts unintentionally

This is maybe my 10th Garmin product (maybe more) and it looks nice, but really isn't good for running, as it is very easy to unintentionally delete a workout. On my prior watches you always had to confirm if you wanted to delete a workout, but this one just deletes if you brush the touchscreen. Not ideal to say the least. I've tried to ask Garmin support if I can turn that function off, but they said I cannot.

Beautiful, functional smart watch that does it all

For years and years I opted for Garmin's slim fitness trackers over their smart watches because of the form factor: I preferred an unobtrusive band over the bulkier wrist watch style. After losing my fitness tracker (it popped out of a replacement band), I faced the choice of replacing it or upgrading to a smart watch like the Venu 3s. I am so glad that I chose the latter, because the extra features are absolutely worth the extra cost. With the fitness tracker, I was limited to a handful of built-in fitness apps, while the Venu seems to have every sport and fitness activity one could imagine. And I was able to customize which apps display in the primary menu while still having easy access to all of the others. The color display is beautiful and very easy to read. The built-in GPS works more accurately than my old fitness tracker's dependence on my phone GPS. The sleep quality information is important to me, and it works extremely well. The three-button menu system is very easy to use, compared to the old fitness tracker's menu. The Venu has additional features that may prove useful but I have not tried yet, including the ability to take phone calls and respond to text messages while connected to my phone, and to store music or use phone-connected music apps for listening while engaging in activities. While the built-in speaker is adequate, connect Bluetooth earbuds provide a much better quality sound. Finally, after a week or so, I adapted to the larger size of the watch, and it does not seem at all bulky to me. I am completely satisfied with the Venu 3s.
