Amazing watch!

I got this watch to replace my Apple Watch. My battery life was terrible and my workout calories were never consistent. I’ve had the garmin for about 3 weeks and I’ve only charged it twice since I had it. It tracks my sleep and the color on it is amazing. It looks way more elegant than the Apple Watch too! The Apple Watch reminds me of what you get in a kids meal at McDonald’s. This watch is a must have if you want a smart watch that is more confused on work outs.

Excellent data

I have used my venu 3s for about 3 weeks now. I love the data that it stores. It is easy to read. I love the sleep suggestions and body battery, it helps me understand why I didn't perform as well as I thought I SHOULD. It helps me set goals to try to continue to improve my health and performance. I am quite disappointed with the text messaging capability (or lack thereof) with iPhone users. I am not going to make all of my family and friends download a messaging app and create accounts. We need an update to where it can talk to iPhones and we can use the watch to text back. That is my only issue with this watch.

Vastly superior to my old Fitbit

Upgraded to the Venu 3S after my third Fitbit in three years bit the dust. (Way to ruin a brand, Google.) I love it! Not only is it more accurate than the Charge 5 I had, but I don’t have to charge it every day like an Apple Watch, and the screens and app coordinate in such a way that it’s easier - and much more fun - to set and meet my health and fitness goals!

Love it but

The only down fall that I have found so far is that I can't connect it to my phone carriers network (Verizon). Also that I can't be more then 30 ft from my phone to get calls and texts. I'm a very busy and don't want to carry my phone everywhere I go.

Love it!

Finally found a watch that isn’t overly large on my wrist. Women have small wrists so smaller watch faces are needed. This is still quite large but it’ll work. Honestly don’t wear it all the time due to size but it works great when I do. I’m waiting for golf season which is really why I bought it. I’m assuming I’ll love it.

Pros and Cons

I switched from Apple watch and I love some features but I've had to sacrifice others. Pros: Battery life! Unbelievable compared to Apple. With the battery life, I can track my sleep which is something I couldn't do. I also like the ability to track my HR, body battery, HRV, and all other aspects of health so easily. Cons: unable to respond to a text on the watch. This feature really is unfortunate. On the Apple watch, you can write letters and respond to a text with a unique statement or it has general statements such as "Thank you. Can I call you later?, Welcome." Etc. On the apple watch you can also like a comment or respond with a heart or !!. Another con, you have to open the garmin app to see the weather. I wish it automatically adjusted to my location and show me the weather without opening the app on my phone. If I have to open my phone, I might as well just use the weather app and look more in depth. The last thing, is I wish I could adjust some of the notifications I get on my watch. I get a lot of notifications on my phone that are not necessary on my watch. It's all or nothing on the watch. I either get all the notifications (news, sports, emails, texts etc) or nothing. On the Apple watch I can adjust and just get the important things - which are work emails, texts and calls. That way I am not distracted by constant vibrations throughout the day on my wrist. Overall, I think I am going to keep it but I'm a little disgruntled about some of these basic features that I lost by switching.

So glad I switched from my Apple Watch!!!

I switched over to Garmin after having an Apple Watch for years!!! I was definitely worried at first that it wouldn’t compare, but boy was I WRONG! I am totally obsessed with my Garmin and wear it religiously! It does everything my Apple Watch could do and MORE! I can even take phone calls from the Garmin Watch. The only thing it can’t do is send texts, but I honestly never used that feature on my Apple Watch since it was majorly inconsistent and not quick to use! The battery life alone on the Garmin is more than enough to make the switch. If you’re thinking about doing it, I would definitely recommend doing it. It’s worth it!

VenuS3

I've had this watch for about a month and switched from an Apple watch. This watch while claims to have really great features. have a hard time tracking my workouts and steps. The workout setting was the main reason I purchased this watch and does not do what it was described it can do. Battery does die more quickly than advertised and is slightly harder to navigate than Apple. If your thinking about making the switch I would personally not if your main purpose for this watch is the workout tracking capabilities. It is a visually appealing watch and not too bulky.

Perfect smart watch

Bought this a month ago after years of an Apple Watch. I love the style and the easy readability of the face watch. The stats are helpful. It’s easy to use for running and general workout ms for fitness tracking. It has more than I need but not too much that I can’t navigate it. And the battery lasts a week!!!

not so happy

I purchased the device which is not cheap at all. It’s a pity that there isn’t an automatic sync for contacts like there used to be in an old device I had. Also, it is still not possible to initiate viewing messages and/or sending messages from the watch to the mobile device.
