Great value and nice features!

The build quality is very good. The smoker is a good size, not too big, not too small. It has a large pellet hopper for long smokes. I really like the burn pot placed almost in the center of the smoker. This should help keep an even heat towards the most useful area of the grates. Drip pan is stainless and easy to remove for cleaning. The included cover is a nice addition. The assembly is definitely a two person build. I did it alone in about two and a half hours but I definitely wouldn’t do it again alone. The grease bucket seems small for this size grill. I didn’t see anything in the manual, but you might be able to use a standard solo cup as a liner for the grease bucket. So the small size might be an advantage for some people. Overall this smoker has some really nice features found in more expensive smokers. I would definitely recommend this for anyone new to smoking and those that smoke occasionally. If you’re looking for a competition smoker or something for commercial smoking you will need to look for something else. Great value for the price! Good job on this one Sam’s Club!

Great smoker if you aren’t smoking big meats

Some are giving lower ratings because it isn’t the upgraded model, but it’s not at that price point. At this price it is a great smoker that works great for smoking most things, even a small brisket, but if smoking a large brisket, it would be better to get the bigger models. It works great for a smoker and at this price it was a no brainer.

Build Quality and Cook will Suprise you

The build quality is great. Thick walls, heavy door. Door even has felt gaskets around it to help seal in the smoke and heat. interior is eashy to take apart to clean after each cook. Temp control is pretty easy to use. Did a 16 hour brisket smoke the weekend it was built and handled it like a champ. Got it at a discount at $250. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a pellet smoker.

this thing is hands down the best smoker I've ever owned and I've been smoking for almost 30 years. the fluctuation in the temperature is very mild but for a midsize smoker this thing is is good as you can get for 350 bucks and if you pay attention they go on sale $100 off sometimes. if you're considering this do yourself a favor and pull the trigger this gets five stars for me all day long. happy smoking y'all!

I'm already looking for an upgrade

This is not a smaller version of the highly rated 36" Member's Mark pellet grill. It is not as well insulated and consumes a lot of extra pellets, the thermometer is poorly calibrated (30 degrees below my meat thermometer's ambient air temp reading), and the lack of integrated smoke box reduces the cooking area considerably. Consider spending more for an upgrade. Negatives aside, I am already smoking 10-lb briskets better than my local restaurants, so it definitely works and is great for beginners. Small batch cooking is great for trying different things. I'm just already looking forward to getting a bigger better grill.

I ordered the 28 inch pellet grill from Sam's Club online for my husband for Memorial Day. The girl came early. It's just in time for memorial Day. We were going to put it together. Well it's missing bolts. It needs 16 bolts and we were only given eight with maybe an extra one and that was on Friday I had to wait till Tuesday to get parts then it was just an answering machine. I had to use an email to get extra parts and I still haven't heard back. I think that's really sad that you charge as much as you do for the items we pay for and when you get them, they can't even be put together properly because they're missing parts the crucial parts to keep them together. I hope this can get resolved soon. Thank you. Have a great day

This is in no way this grill is as good as the one before it !! This is a down grade of the 36”. This grill is not worth it unless you getting it free . It's crazy how many pellets this thing goes through

no support, no quality control.

parts were poorly welded. welded nuts did not align properly. was instructed to call manufacturer and was hung up on. Just a warning, once you buy you're on your own.
