Great start

After spending 90 minutes removing the old TV and setting up the new one, I turned on and there was sound for 2 seconds and large black and white distorted colors on the screen with small hints of red and green streaking in the background. Called Sam's and they have arranged to exchange. Hope the next one works, from the reviews it sounded like a good deal and price was great.

This set replaces an older Samsung that I moved to another room. I have had no problems with it at all. The price was good and the quality was all that I had expected to get from a Samsung. The set I replaced is 8 years old and still works great. My new one has Ultra HD and the picture is fabulous.

Initially I received my TV and was completely impressed with the picture and features. Then I started a Netflix 4K TV show that featured mostly dark scenes. That's when I noticed the extreme light bleed and flashlighting on the screen. Along the edge there were bands of light dulling the image and clouds of light on about 40% of the screen. Once you see it you can't unsee it. I noticed it in any show with darker colors. While a common problem in LED TVs, I don't think 40% of my screens image being dulled is acceptable. More so since I went for the Samsung SUHD vs. the standard Samsung UHD. I'm exchanging for a new one of the same model to see if the problem persists. I'm also extremly hesitant to deal with Samsung Customer Service as I had a recent poor customer experience with my S6. Starting to think I should have learned my lesson the first time.

I have only had the 55" 4K for 2 days, but I couldn't be happier with the quality of the picture. Very easy to set up and login to my network. I was up and running in a matter of minutes. My son recommended Samsung and glad he did.

I love this tv's picture and the sound is good for a typical setup. However, I wanted to use this with a sound bar and have ran into many issues.. 1) Non samsung sound bad, I can not control the audio volume with either optical or bluetooth connection. (Returned the sound bar I bought). I did more research and felt like I could get a Samsung soundbar or one that supports ARC. However, I read about other issues there.. ARC might not support the higher quality HD DTS etc features, also the bigger issue for me is turning on or off the sound bar. It seems that with ARC with the right setup you can get the TV to turn off the sound bar or it just times out with no signal, but getting it to turn on is an issue. I can not program the remote to turn on or off a sound bar with the TV, so now I need yet another remote... The whole experience with these issues for external sound has me a bit upset with the product. There is no reason why the TV should not be able to control volume for example via bluetooth device.. No support for any type of programing on the remote for basic audio accessory has me disappointed too. After reading many pages on the web/ Amazon / AVS forum, I am not sure I can get an audio setup to turn on and off the system by controlling the TV and thus I need different more remotes to control the TV and the external sound. This just seems crazy and insane for this type of TV..

We cannot believe the picture on this TV and the features. We just set it up yesterday and have been awestruck at the images. I watched a movie from 1991 and it looked better than ever. The sound quality was a surprise. We normally run the TV through a receiver so we didn't use the sound quality as a deciding factor in our decision to purchase this TV but it is so good that we haven't connected our sound system as of yet. The integration to Netflix, Hulu and social media is seamless. We were really surprised when the "Extras" popped up as we were watching. the integration and options add an extra layer to your TV watching experience. We're so excited and pleased that we made this purchase!

On my last LG TV, I could use the Audio output jack to run a separate headset for a family member who is hard of hearing. That output was available along with the regular sound output. On this TV, the audio out is only available when the regular speakers are off.

Purchased this TV as a Computer Monitor (I set it to the 1080 resolution). I also have a Blu Ray Player hooked to it. The colors are great. The upscale to 4K is really amazing. When I watch a movie, it is so life like that I also feel like I'm on the set. Highly recommend this product!

I've always bought Sony TVs or Panasonic. Never in my mind would I have thought my spouse and I would buy a Samsung. The color and visual aspect of this TV is absolutely stunning! The picture is much brighter than the regular 4K and curve. Volume options on this TV is wonderful also. Can't forget to mention the price we paid! Well worth our money and their customer service is absolutely amazing. That's a definite plus!
