This is my favorite rum, it has a very subtle spice taste that really is elevated in a mixed drink, more specifically a warm cider. It does retain that hard alcohol taste but with hints of spice that make It feel Smokey. If you don't like a hard alcohol taste this won't be for you.

I love Captain Morgan, and Black Spiced is NO exception! Smooth, nice warmth going down, plenty of percentage, and a pretty cool bottle I may add! It's one of a two go-tos if I plan on drinking rum! I'd buy it again and I will be a life long buyer of Captain!

I love coconut rum! Drinking it straight or add it to Pineapple juice with a splash of cranberry! It is always the perfect amount of flavor. The cost is fair, there are cheaper brands that seem to have a similar taste. This is always available at all liquor stores. This is a great tasting rum! It also works amazing in pin a colada mixes, rum and cokes or if you like strong taste, just over ice is nice. It is a bit pricey depending on where you live. But its flavor is really nice. I would definitely keep buying and recommend.

There is a slight vanilla hint to this, goes very well with Coke or diet Coke.. Makes it taste like vanilla Coke... Priced just as others... Always have a bottle in the house.. Have a few friends that drink this bite because they have tried it here or I've brought it to bonfires.

I tried this dark rum in a mojito for a twist and something different. I was not disappointed as its taste cut right through the mint with added spice. This gave the mojito a really nice warm tone and I will be repeating this recipe again. I would recommend.

I enjoy Captain Morgan Black for mixing. It is a bit harsh drinking neat, I figure the 94 proof does this. I prefer Dr. Pepper as a mixer over Coke for this one. Also, good with Red Bull that is similar to a Jager bomb, but I like this version better. I see a lot choose Kraken over the Black, but I like the finish of vanilla notes better on the Black as a mixer. A bit more going on than the Kraken and I feel smoother also.

Believe it or not but this goes great with warm apple cider! The spices between the 2 come together and its yummy..i normally like my alcohol drinks cold but this one that is warm not hot just warm goes down nice and warm especially on these drab snowy day's it warms your hands too.!!

This has a very good flavor. It's very rich and has a lot of body. It's very very smooth. I'm not sure if it has vanilla in it, but when its mixed with coke, it taste like vanilla coke. Its smooth enough to drink on it's own and theres several ways it can be mixed. Overall, I really like this product. I went out of my norm and bought this one day and I was so suprised at how good it taste. Also. Affordable.

Great with Coke for parties or just to have for luxuery must keep good and cold other wise it's not as good but over all it's a good liquor and tastes great with a steak wish I had some right now to take a sip of while football season is comming in and the weather is cooling off
