Seriously, where these even tasted against the old recipe? If they were did Morningstar Farms specifically find people rtgat prefer funky texture warm cardboard? Because that is what these now resemble. You had the market cornered with the original breakfast sausage, now I beat this would make even beavers sad.

How is is possible they can legally call these "original" when they changed the recipe and they are absolutely awful. I will not buy any more unless they change them back to the actual original!

I found these little gems in August and have been eating them on repeat but the most recent bag I bought tasted different, and I see they changed the recipe. I give the new recipe a total thumbs down. Ugh please go back to the old recipe!

I echo the sentiment of all the reviews criticizing the formulation change. It's bad. My seven year old twins noticed it immediately. I bought three bags from different stores trying to determine if I had just hit a “bad lot”. It appears not. I appreciate the non-GMO soy change but I'd even eat GMO soybeans if the old recipe would be brought back.

It's deceptive for a leading American brand to say “Original” instead of “New” like Kellogg does with a myriad of its other products. The taste and texture are horrible now. The only silver lining is Impossible and Beyond have raised the quality benchmark. Very disappointed after 30 years.

We have purchased these patties for literally years and our whole family loved them. The new formula is terrible and such a disappointment. Please change it back. I don't think we will continue buying this product anymore as it just doesn't taste as good anymore.

What happened?! I have been eating the veggie sausage longer than I can remember (I think well over 20 years)! I always thought of it as if I were eating candy - it was that good! However, the veggie sausage now has a different taste and texture! It's gross! I can't even swallow it! Why was the recipe changed? Please return back to the original recipe! I have three bags that are going into the trash!

These have been my staple for many years-I went through two value size bags a week. Now I can barely choke them down. So smooshy and strange taste. The smell is gross too. They may look like the old ones but beware! So wish they would just make the old recipe plus a new one for those who want vegan and dairy free. I have no idea what I will eat for breakfast and my afternoon snack now. Ha I know it's stupid but this really affects me and makes me sad since I am a picky eater. Now i'll just have to warn everyone against them:(

I join the chorus of long-time customers begging for a return to the old formula! Please!! These sausages have been a major protein source for me, but no longer. They are horrible, nauseating. I just threw the bag away. I'm so disappointed. Bad, bad decision!

My son and I thought we got a bad batch or that it was in the freezer too long. We were so sad to find out that the new recipe is really bad and that they all taste like that now. Pleeease bring back th3 original. No one likes to eat a soggy breakfast fake meat.
