The plant-based veggie sausage patties tasted like meat sausages with the same texture as meat, and they didn't give me that heavy feeling after eating them. What I also liked is how easy it is to prepare them in the morning.

I haven't tried many veggie sausages before but this one is pretty good and cooks fast. I like the flavor which is the Hot and Spicy flavor that I picked up. The texture isn't like the meat sausage but it's close enough. I like the alternative protein that I have in this sausage so it's pretty good.

Making the product vegan isn't the problem; vegan products can still taste great. The issue began when they removed the artificial colors, flavors, and GMO soy. I applaud this move; however, when it was done, they neglected to make the products taste good as they once did. For instance, Grillers are now fairly dry and lacking in flavor whereas they used to be greasy in a good way and quite flavorful, and it is possible to source natural flavors that provide the same level of flavor that Grillers once had. I think a little assistance is needed in revamping all the MSF products as current development staff don't seem equipped to do so successfully for unknown reasons.

I'm working on having a healthier body and now I could buy these and feel good about adding these to my meal. My 13 year old thought they tasted good too. I want to try the spicy version next.

It is definitely something that you get used to after a couple times eating it. Overall, I do enjoy the taste and have incorporated it to our meatless Monday breakfast. I personally enjoy adding some hot sauce or incorporating it in a breakfast burrito/ English muffin. I would highly recommend MorningStar Farms Veggie sausage patties to those that want to take small steps towards consuming less meat products.

These were the only veggie sausages my family would eat (and we tried them ALL!)...until recently. Something changed in the ingredients and now the texture is mushy and they added a lot of spice to compensate. My kids will no longer eat these. Guess it's back to regular meat for us, sadly.

I don't eat many meat replacements so I had a hard time getting past the texture. It was very soft even though I pan fried it. I can't see myself buying this product. Maybe if you scramble it up with some eggs and veggies, then it'll be much better.
