[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally love Morning Star for a solid cheaper/middle of the road veggie meat. Still holds true here. Easy to cook, doesn't take long, good protein content and holds together well. My only weakness is that it's not seasoned super well. Pretty bland taste, but would still eat them again.

Overall they are decent pretty good flavor and almost taste like real meat but wish they where bigger in size. The patties are pretty small. wish they are bigger in size. I give them a 4/5 and would buy them again in the future.

I got their sausage patties with maple. Wow. They were good. Even if you eat meat, I highly recommended these. Give them a try.

From my perspective this is by far the best veggie pattie I've had in terms of taste and texture and my wife agrees. We ate the whole package and had to fight our two young kids, age 2 and 5, as they also loved it. It felt great knowing my family was eating a healthy alternative although it did take me driving around to find a store that had it.

While the texture and flavor are not the same as a meat sausage, it tastes quite good. The sausage is very savory and has lots of flavor. The texture isn't bad, just a bit different from meat. I had the patty on its own to see what I thought of it, and I think it's better than a lot of meat sausage patties that I've had. The flavoring is a bit subtle, though, and if I were to put it in a sandwich it might get lost among the other flavors. But it does well on its own, and would pair well with eggs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love plant based sausage for breakfast. The MorningStar Farms sausage patties are a great choice. The flavor is very good, it makes a great addition to breakfast when I want sausage but I want to keep it healthier. The texture is a bit crumbly/grainy, but that's too be expected with a plant based product. MorningStar Farms was easy to find in the supermarket freezer section. They were easy to prepare either in the microwave or in a pan. I used the stovetop method and the sausage browned and caramelized very nicely. Great sausage flavor and texture. My only gripe is that I wish they were a little wider so they would fit on a sandwich.

I have eaten original sausage patties - every single day - for 30+ years. I couldn't believe that after all of these years, Morningstar just changed the ingredients. The new patties are gross and it's just a shame. My hope is that the company listens to its customers and goes back to its original ingredients.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try our Morningstar Farms Veggie Original Sausage Patties. Since I wanted it nice and crisp I cooked it in my air fryer. The outside of the patty came out perfect. The flavor of the Original Sausage Patties is lacking. It tastes nothing like sausage and I don't understand why anyone would purchase these. If they had more of a believable flavor I'd consider purchasing them. The rest of my bag is going in the trash!

We cooked the sausage in the microwave this time, next time I think I would rather pan fry just to make it a little more crispy on the outside. Very easy to make, definitely a quick breakfast before work. I felt a little more healthier eating a plant based sausage but it also makes me want to try other plant based items. I was always worried about the taste of plant based items so I passed on trying them. The sausage didn't really have a taste per say next time might add a little more flavor to the sausage of my own. Very easy to find in the store, and all three options were available at the time of purchase. We did chose to make a breakfast sandwich with our sausage, that included a mini bagel, fried egg, cheese and cream cheese.
