[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It tasted fine, neither meaty nor like a vegan flavor. It's pretty simple to cook. Would be great for vegan diet enthusiasts and an occasional treat for everyone else. It was kinda easy to locate in the frozen food aisle.

Sadly I was very disappointed with the lack of flavor. It's difficult to explain the taste but trust me it tasted nothing like real meat. The texture was very crumbly and crunchy. The sausage left a strange aftertaste in my mouth that I did not care for. The following morning I thought maybe if I cooked it over the stove it might improve the taste. Nope. I had the same experience all over again. While I won't be purchasing this item again I'm still glad I got a chance to try it.

The patties were a great addition to some eggs I served and goes well with any condiment (i.e. ketchup, mustard). I like that it is a healthier option to add to my breakfast menu.

It took several store trips to find these in the right size (probably because they're so popular) but it was worth the wait. My kids and I tried the patties in sandwiches and even though serving size states 1/person we all had to make another sandwich because they're so delicious. That brings me to the point about ease of preparing the patties. I chose the skillet method and made 1/person but it was no trouble making it again the 2nd time as it just takes a few minutes and is very easy. The texture was just right: soft and moist. It has been a while since I have tried veggie patties and these were by far superior to the ones I've tried before. Given benefits of plant-based diet, these make a lot of sense for a healthy meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Morningstar Sausage is really delicious. There are many ways to enjoy it. I ate it for breakfast as a breakfast sandwich. The sausage is so quick and easy to prepare. The texture is similar as meat sausage, except for the greasy after taste, and you feel better for that. If you haven't tried plant base yet.... you should.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is Ok , flavored may be a little better. I had to go to 4 different places to find the original / plain variation. I followed the stovetop instructions perfectly. I made one to try plain, and another to put in a English muffin with an egg and cheese. The texture was a little rubbery / tough especially around the edges. The floavor was lacking, i added seasoning to the next batch I made and it was better tasting but the texture was still not great.

You really couldn't tell that they were plant based. My only complaint is that I prefer a thicker patty. Other than that small complaint I thought these were awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried several brands of vegan meats. Breakfast seemed to be the most difficult, until I tried Morningstar Foods Breakfast sausage. It is really tasty, and did not leave me feeling like I was missing anything.
