I have eaten these patties for years and loved them! I have been buying them recently and noticed a huge change in the quality. At first I thought there was a supply chain issue that affected the recipe temporarily. I have bought them a few more times with the same gooey unpalatable taste. This was the only vegetarian product that I liked. Please bring back the previous recipe.

I've been a vegetarian and eaten these sausages for 10 years and I am devastated with the changes made to the recipe!! I love that the company is trying to head in a vegan-friendly direction, but please don't go changing tried and true recipes that have built a loyal costumer base of people who enjoy these sausages daily. The new recipe has made them gross and it seems most people agree they just don't taste good anymore! Please listen to the people who have bought your products for decades and bring back the original vegetarian recipe! Or at least keep tweaking the vegan one until it actually tastes good.

Our household is a family of 5 and we've stocked up on the Original Sausage Patties weekly for years. Everyone in the house noticed when the recipe changed. It just doesn't taste savory and tasty anymore. Bring back the old recipe! Otherwise, we're moving on!

These were amazing for decades but Morningstar inexplicably changed the recipe, and they no longer taste anywhere near as good as they used to. The reviews here reflect that almost no one prefers the new recipe to the old. When will the recipe revert back?

These sausages have been a staple in my home since I was a kid. (For the brief time the sausage, egg, cheese biscuit was around I was in love). Now the sausage recipe is inedible. I kept thinking I got a bad batch. Kept throwing them out. I can't believe they are selling this trash. I have abandon all their products. Whoever made the call to change this should be fired. Wondering if there is more to this? Why would a company change a delicious product with lifetime loyal customers? These weren't cheap either. They were on my grocery list every week for over 20 years. Maybe they were using an ingredient that would upset the public and had to change it. It's strange they are not addressing this at all.

I've been eating these for decades, have even gotten full forged carnivores to buy them. It's the only meat substitute I've never had anybody be grossed out by. I've been noticing for awhile the quality just isn't there anymore. Texture even moreso than taste. Come to find out there's been a recipe change? Terrible idea, terrible product. For many years these breakfast patties have been our go to sausage patties for breakfast. I cannot understand why a company would change such a great product to something that has a mushy center, poor texture on the outside and is really bland in flavor. I guess the company execs just do not get it. At least the company should give an option for the original style. I tried every way cook them, no difference. I just quit buying them until a the original is back.

I've practically lived off of these my whole life until a few months ago when they changed the recipe. Now I can't stand them. Change back to the old recipe or this product is going to fail. Whoever approved this new taste should be fired. You should also change Grillers back to the way they were several years ago. I had to stop buying those when you changed them as well. Change to the old recipe and I'll happily start buying them again along with everyone else who knew how good they used to be.

This is a HUGE bummer. These sausage patties used to be one of the only healthy foods my special needs child would eat and since the recipe changed she won't eat any of it. We're very disappointed. Please please please change it back. All the reviews say the same thing your customer base is very upset.

I was excited when I sa these in the store because I love breakfast sausage and would love to find a good alternative. When I cooked two of these patties it smelled fantastic, very similar to real breakfast sausage smell. I was hoping to make a breakfast sandwich in an English muffin with these. But unfortunately they didn't have enough of a breakfast sausage taste for me. And the consistency just wasn't up to par. I only took two bites out of them and didn't eat the rest.I'm sure some people enjoy them but I will be trying a different one next time.
