Aug 2019 Mower arrived defective - one front wheel was crooked - couldn't even roll it out of the garage after all the trouble researching options, assembling, and charging the battery. (btw: contrary to the manual, the BOTTOM handle was not attached out of box, and it takes some muscle/hand strength to attach that bottom one). The wheel was at a significant angle, rubbing up against the steel bar - which would cause wear. Regardless, one would not have even been able to push the mower straight. Sun Joe acknowledged it was defective (after one rep simply hung up upon hearing it was a product issue), but I'm not taking a chance on another badly manufactured one (suggest you don't either!) I would give it 5 stars but one thing really bothered me. I thought this mower was capable of mulching. You have to use the bag and if your grass is kinda high like mine was, you will have to empty the bag quite often. The battery lasts about 45 minutes. The mower works great. I like how it's lightweight and easy to maneuver. Assembly was super easy and the battery was fully charged in 2 hours. I plan on getting another battery because I have a big yard and can't finish mowing without having to charge the battery again. Overall It's a good mower for the price.

First electric lawn mower I've owned, and bought this one after research. It's great, and so much easier than the gassy, smokey mess of the old type. Online purchase and delivery were perfect. Next, we're buying cordless leaf blower and weed eater. Thanks, Walmart.

I can honestly say that this company gives above and beyond customer service. My mower stopped working and with no hassles and jumping thru hoops I had a new one within a week. Mower great for someone who has had operations in both hands. I am going to order more from this company that is for sure.

We are both retired so the weight of this lawnmower was a prime concern. It was easy to assemble, easy to start, and cut our yard with ease. No gas or gas cans, little noise, and super easy to handle. I would highly recommend this mower, the buying experience, and general experience. Thanks.

I've only used it twice, but liked how much easier it was to navigate than my traditional style mower. My back yard is on the medium side, and the grass was on the longish side, so had to change the bag five times. Also, I would recommend a wider version, is available. It's pretty narrow, so lots more back-and-forths. All in all, satisfied with how easy it is to operate!

Absolutely love it....it is lightweight, and cuts through grass well. I did not realize that what got me tired more than anything when mowing with my old gas mower, even if self-propelled, was the weight of it! And not the actual mowing itself! This Sun Joe makes mowing fun and pass by quickly!! Am less tired. I used setting "3"....left a tall enough nice grass blanket to not get burned by the summer sun. I did not use the bag however. Some initial clippings of pine needles/grass mix piled up inside the back chute door area, but once removed, the grass itself never piled up at all after that. The suction is very good, slightly less powerful than a gas mower, but even 1 foot tall grass spikes got cut well. I could not finish my 1/3 acre lawn, the battery was weak at that point. You are not to let it die completely. It is quiet, runs smoothly, does not bounce, and cuts through small twigs, and medium pine cones that rolled in the way. It "gears up" if you reach thicker grass and cuts it well. Due to its narrow cutting path of 16 inches, it fits into the smaller areas of my yard. In the past, my old mower did not fit so I had to use a grass trimmer. Another plus with this Sun Joe! I tried to order another battery on the Sun Joe website, as they offer a small discount seeing you bought their mower, but it is a blank white screen after you click on the product you are seeking. I wrote them hoping they can help me out. I had been watching neighbors with another brand cordless, and after researching the two, saw that Sun Joe never ever has issues like that other one. And, at registration you can increase your warranty time for a few dollars more.... I look forward to taking good care of this mower and it doing that for me!

Last year i bought a Joe snow blower, now the cordless Sun lawn mower, I love it, the grass catcher is so helpful. a lot of time to continue cutting. recharging was quick.

This is a great lawnmower. Although 99.9% of all mowing is done on a regularly cut lawn, when I had to use it on overgrown grass - over 6" it cut right through all of it without a problem and did not bog down.

Talk about awesome, I have a very decent sized yard and I was able to cut the whole thing on one battery. Just mind blown.
