I just got my Hotpoint 7.1 CF freezer and it's the PERFECT size for my townhouse. It fits right into a cubby in my laundry room. So far so good, it cooled real fast when I plugged it in and there is an ample amount of space inside. The only thing I would have liked more is if it came with more than one wire basket.

Delivered on time, package was great. However after opening the chest freezer there was three dents on the front of it. No signs of possible damaged during shipping. Looks like they just send damaged good. Work good, however doesn't look the greatest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer is big enough to hold what you need it to, and small enough to fit inside the kitchen. It fits nicely, and we loved the two removeable baskets and removable divider. For the price, you can't beat this size freezer.

Bought this freezer on September 9th. Since then, I've contacted the store three times in the past month and am promised each time that someone will call me back. No one ever does. Only when I have the temp setting at the Highest (7) level does it even come close to keeping the temp under Zero. That's just not right but no one is willing to help me. This is as much a 1-Star rating on the freezer as it is on the Seller.

I am very pleased with this purchase as it has helped immensely being able to stock up on food and make less trips to the grocery stores. The food stays super cold at all times and there is a storage bin that works well for smaller items that could get lost among the other items. Another plus is how quiet the unit is even when it is running at it's highest capacity. I would definitely buy another Hotpoint chest freezer in the future!

This is a great mid sized freezer. I needed more room but not a monster taking up room in my garage. This has plenty of room and it's dimensions are perfect for a garage. It has a small basket for smaller items, a convenient shelf and plenty of room. Set up, maintenance, etc. couldn't be simpler. Only had it a few days but it's perfect mid size freezer so far.

Bought this a few months ago, it's a great size for a small family. Within 2 hours of plugging it in it was already freezing! I like that the defrosting plug is in the front as swell as the controls. Another feature I like is the motor in the back is covered with a great, making it inaccessible to for my two very curious cats. If you're looking for a good freezer with a good price this is it.

Very satisfied. Setup couldn't be easier. Remove all packing plug in and give a few hrs to get cold. I waited 24 hrs before adding any food 7 cu ft is plet big enough for food for two adults. With room for extra food during hurricane season. It comes with a plastic scraper for defrosting. We'll see how that goes when the time comes. Overall, I would recommend. Price is worth it. I got it from a big box hardware store. One con, delivery takes about 3 months. Choose it because hotpoint is a good brand. My grandmother had a hotpoint fridge that has lasted over 60 years

We considered all brands vertical and upright suitable for a garage. In the end we went with Hotpoint due to quality, size (7.1 cu.ft.) and price point. We ended up placing the freezer in the house and not the garage. It was easy to move and fits nicely into smaller spaces. We have purchased an extra sliding basket and also freezer safe bins with movable compartments so it's easy to reach in and find what you are looking for. We don't hear the unit running - it's super quiet but nice to have a power on light to know you are in good shape. The drain valve in the front is nicely placed and will make any defrosting easy to manage. My husband and I like simple, easy and good quality and this one checks all the boxes.

We needed a good chest freezer for 120 pounds of fresh processed beef. This 7.1 cu ft freezer is perfect. We can store our our fresh meet and additional frozen products that overflow from our refrigerator/freezer. The unit is energy efficient and the lid is easy to open and close when your hands are full of frozen items.
