[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good size freezer for to supplement overflow from main kitchen unit. Easily fits into a smaller place. Lightweight and easy to move to a basement. Green indicator light on front is a nice feature showing the unit is on. Storage baskets and locking lid are handy as well. Overall, nice clean appearance and a great value for the price.

The small freezer with my refrigerator wasn't big enough. When I cook like to freeze meals to enjoy another day. When I buy meats divide it into small portions. Now I can find my frozen items. I did buy additional baskets to sort items as meats, meals, etc.

Bought this freezer on September 9th. Since then, I've contacted the store three times in the past month and am promised each time that someone will call me back. No one ever does. Only when I have the temp setting at the Highest (7) level does it even come close to keeping the temp under Zero. That's just not right but no one is willing to help me. This is as much a 1-Star rating on the freezer as it is on the Seller.

I bought this previously and it was lost in shipping so when it was re-shipped and I recieved it I was ecstatic! This was so badly needed. It runs quietly, fits nicely, and looks good. We are a family of three and I like to stock up on things so this is the perfect size!

We considered all brands vertical and upright suitable for a garage. In the end we went with Hotpoint due to quality, size (7.1 cu.ft.) and price point. We ended up placing the freezer in the house and not the garage. It was easy to move and fits nicely into smaller spaces. We have purchased an extra sliding basket and also freezer safe bins with movable compartments so it's easy to reach in and find what you are looking for. We don't hear the unit running - it's super quiet but nice to have a power on light to know you are in good shape. The drain valve in the front is nicely placed and will make any defrosting easy to manage. My husband and I like simple, easy and good quality and this one checks all the boxes.

Pros: Unit is quiet and cools down fast. Recessed temperature dial prevents accidentally changing setting. Cons: no locking mechanism, no leveling feet, no interior lighting. Control panel is not very securely fastened. Only a single basket supplied. Conclusion:. If you just need to keep food frozen, with absolutely no bells & whistles, this white box will do that.

I had this delivered about a week ago and am really happy so far. It was affordable but still a good size - I was going back and forth between a 5 versus 7 and glad I went with the 7. It fits well in our garage and allows for a decent amount of extra freezer storage.

My old chest freezer died on me while full of meats! Due to the Corona virus panic, finding a new freezer became a serious issue here in NJ. I found an appliance store that has been in business for many years and this product was the last one they had, they wouldn't reserve it so we had to pay for it over the phone without even seeing it. BUT I am so happy with it.. it got cold super fast and all my food is saved. Great size great price.. Its perfect!

This is the perfect size for us to stock up on some frozen meats, veggies and breads. Doesn't take up a lot of space in our garage and plugs right in existing outlet. Has a handy sliding basket that allows storage of things you grab often. Freezes well. Happy with this purchase.

Just the right size for me, wanted a smaller unit but has plenty of room. It wasn't too heavy for me to move. So far so good, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a small dent in the top of the freezer when I opened the box, but it won't affect the operation of the unit.
