I had no idea it was this large. I haven't used it but it is beautiful. There a few 'dings' on my ladle as I read someone had the same problem but I'll live with it, it's minor.

The tureen is very nice but the ladle has large unglazed spots on the bottom and underside of the handle. Saw the previous reviews that mentioned this and was hoping the issue had been corrected. Most mentioned just the bottom of the ladle having the missing glaze but the one I received also had numerous areas along the underside of the handle. Obviously, the problem has only gotten worse. Such a shame because the tureen is exactly what I was hoping for.

I bought this because I thought it would be a smaller serving dish, was specified in the description as 2.9 quarts which is a little more than a half gallon capacity, it arrived with two chips in the ladle and turns out it is an 8.2 quart capacity! That is over a two gallon capacity which is completely different than what I thought I was buying. It is good quality but the size needs to be correct in the description.

Personally I love it! On sale it was $19.99. I'm not sure why people are complaining about it for the price point?! I get it if something was broken. But, I think people order and look for flaws! Perhaps if you want such perfection spend MORE money somewhere else! I think it's beautiful! Definitely looks more than what I paid! I have mine sitting on my counter for decor and I will be using it on thanksgiving to serve mashed potatoes in! I'd buy it again and I'd recommend!
