Great for Baby Bottles

I love that I have found a fantastic soap that cleans the milk residue from my baby bottles. I tried Babyganics and it was TERRIBLE. I don't know why I didn't change to this soap sooner, as I used it years ago with my oldest daughter. Now we use it for all our dishes.

Cleans better than my baby bottle soap

I freeze my breastmilk in containers and my babyganics dish soap won't clean out the residue I've washed them twice and still couldn't get them clean. Finally I washed them with Seventh Gen. free and clear and my bottles and containers look AMAZING completely clear and no residue. THANK YOU!! I did not want to throw out bottles and containers and have to buy new ones.

Smells and works great

OMG I love Seventh Generation products anyway but I really live this dish soap. It literally smells so good and really fresh and authentic. It actually works great and I trust it cleans effectively. It isn't harsh on hands but does cut through grease on dishes easily. I have so far used for a week and I wash a lot of dishes and mine and my kids' hands often using this soap. Even got compliments about it.. it is clear with no dyes and a little bit goes along way. It is easy to use from the bottle or pouring into your favorite soap pump container. I definitely recommend using. I received this for free but the opinions here are based on my own experiences.

It helps my hands feel better too

I have been using this product exclusively for more than a year. I have always loved how it cleaned the dishes but his year I discovered something new. This product did not dry out my hands the way products did. I no longer have to wear gloves when I wash dishes. Prior to switching, I HAD to wear gloves or hands would crack open and hurt. I haven't used gloves this year! And my hands have been happy. Thanks for a great product!

Great for cleaning home brew equipment and more

Great for cleaning home brewing equipment, cast iron pans & deep fryer I needed a fragrance free dish soap to clean my carboys, buckets, vacuum breaks, racking cane and the like. Seventh Generation Free & Clear was the only one that I found that was fragrance free, so I gave it a shot. Works great cleaning everything with little or no residue and doesn't leave any odder on any of the plastic equipment. I also use it on cast iron pans and our deep fryer as well. Dawn leaves an aroma on the pans and in the deep fryer that ends up in the food. Don't have this issue with Seventh Generation Free & Clear.

It's ok.

I bought this to replace a traditional dish soap, in an attempt to minimize toxins in my home. I'm not a fan of this product. It leaves a layer of grease on the bottom of my sink. It rinses off, but easily, but it's just strange. I've never experienced that with other brands. Also, I purchased the Lavendar Floral & Mint fragrance; it's not nearly as pleasant as it sounds. I can't discern lavendar at all and the mint is way to overbearing to be appealing. I would have preferred to share these comments privately but there was no product related email option on your Contact Us page.

Love this stuff

I was looking for a product that was natural to clean my daughter's bottles with. I came across this during a search and let me say I LOVE IT! Not only does it smell nice, but it also cleans the bottles better than any other dish soap I have used. I am very pleased to be able to have something so wonderful to use for my daughter. 10/10 I recommend this to everyone.

Cuts Through Grease!

I recently bought this dish soap to try it out since we are trying to gradually move our household cleaners more towards the natural side. I was a little skeptical because we do 2+ loads of dishes by hand a day and I really needed something that would cut grease and get the job done the first time around. I was very impressed that I only needed to do one wash/rinse to get really greasy dishes clean and spot-free! And the smell is very refreshing and natural. Highly recommended!

Not great

I started using this product a couple of weeks ago because I wanted something gentle on my septic system, plus, it smells great. However, it cleans like it's watered down and its horrible on grease, which is weird because there are a number of reviews saying it's great on grease. Made the mistake of buying a couple of bottles at once.

Worst. Bottle. Ever.

The thickness or viscosity of this soap means that the upside-down squeeze bottle requires near superhuman strength to use. I only possess normal human strength, so every time I wanted dish soap, I was forced to free up both hands to squeeze the bottle. And when it did finally issue forth from the nozzle, it squirted out with such force that I inevitably ended up with about 10x more than needed. For an eco-brand this is pretty much a key failure. Anyway, all things considered it took a surprisingly long time to empty the bottle. The soap is decent but even if the packaging is changed I'm so irritated that I will only buy it if my regular brand is out of stock. And there is no other option.
