plastic smell!!
The smell from these containers doesn’t go away! It transfers to anything and everything you put in them. Gave them several chances, but I don’t appreciate my food smelling and tasting like plastic.

Not good enough
Contains the cereals and makes it look neat but the cover does not hold down when you open the spout. When opening the spout it will open the whole cover. The seal is not strong enough. Also when pouring out the cereal the spout cover closes also.

Perfect
With all the reviews on the way they are shaped, I love these and am buying more. They are larger at the top but that is not a problem. The container is shaped in a way and with a handle like coffee cans so I can handle them better without dropping them. You can see what is in them so the hubby and kids know what cereal they are grabbing. I am getting some more for things such as extra sugar and cornmeal.

Rubbermaid has failed me on this product
I purchased these cereal keeps and am very disappointed! I have used Rubbermaid products for years but these are useless to me as a cereal keeper. One of the three that I purchased worked great and the cereal stayed fresh. One of them would partially close on top but one of them would not stay closed at all, I had already poured 2 boxes of cereal in it and found out that it would not stay closed, I had thrown out the cereal boxes so I didn't have the option to pour the cereal back into the original container, I have had to put packing tape on the area where the cereal pours out in order to keep it closed and keep the cereal fresh.

I like the quality of this product but I don’t like two things about it. When you pour the cereal out you have to use two hands, one to pour and the other to keep the little lid open. It’s simple but annoying for me and my kids. That other is that you need two hands to open the little lid to pour things out. I have four young kids so doing things one handed is the norm but I VS

I use them for dog food. They are nice and seem to hold up well.
Awful chemical smell
I would not buy them. The chemical smell is awful and doesn’t go away. It made my cereal smell.

Cereal keeper
I love the product just wish it was a bit smaller in size kinda blunky but it does great for cereal

Bought these to store our dog food, and dog snacks. They are well made and serve our purpose.
