These are great containers but very large. They take up a lot of room. Bought them to use for cereal. One box of cereal fills the container half way. Should have bought smaller containers.

These are great for organizing the bulk products I buy at Sam's Club. I've bought 3 sets now. They work well for my grandson's cereal, he can pour it without making a mess. I put potato flakes, rice, and oatmeal in them with no worries of bugs getting in. I also like the way I can pull off the lid easily and can scoop out the contents with a measuring cup--so much easier and neater than pouring into the cup. It also works great to pour animal food when you buy in bulk. The only thing I dislike is the slight plastic odor. It doesn't seem to transfer to the food so I still recommend it.

Large and bulky
I purchased these containers to store dry cat food as my cat is extremely finicky and switches between 2-3 different brands and flavors on a daily basis. Containers were MUCH larger than expected and each holds up to the equivalent of a full, family-size box of cereal. Were much bulkier than original bags of cat food and took up way more space. Also, lids came off easily, even with Rubbermaid seal, and have had a few accidents to date. Even if used on a kitchen counter, these containers are “space hogs”! Would recommend something half the size unless you plan stacking on your floor or have a ton of unused shelf space.

Takes up too much space
Loved the price & three pack value. Wish the sides weren't rounded/bulging bc they take up lot of space. I ordered 2 packs. Of 6 items, hakf of them the flip cap was not tight fitting.

Can not believe the poor quality
They mention 3 times in their description that the lids stays open for easy pouring I've used two at home already and neither of the lids stay open for easy pouring they both shut and you have to use 2 hands to pour, also after 2 washings they still STINK

I washed these several times and put my Indiana popcorn in this and you could smell the plastic and gave popcorn a nasty taste. Washed again and tried tortilla chips. Left in bag open. Same thing so I am just going to donate. Don’t waste your money.

Don’t bother
As with a few other reviews, the containers that I received had a petroleum odor. After efforts to wash and soak with baking soda I thought it was gone. But after filling one with old fashioned oats, the odor was passed on into the oats. So I returned them to store . Disappointed. Had not had experience like that with other Rubbermaid that I own

Chemical smell
Interior of containers have a strong chemical smell,after washing the smell did not dissipate,I made the mistake of putting food in them, the smell leached into the food.the containers are going back today to the club.Food had to be thrown out!
