[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top of the Gold Bond lotion bottle has arrows with an inscription of open or closed but I had the hardest time getting the bottle top to truly be open. Was very tough to turn and push to get the first amount of lotion to dispense. The lotion that came out was heavy and thick coming out like thick ribbons that piled on top of each other and stayed put on my hand. The lotion felt very thick as I spread it out over my hand and seemed like it would stay heavy and dense. To my surprise the lotion did absorb quickly despite the heavy feeling and it looked a lot like I was revealing fresh new skin as I moved the lotion around on my hand. My hands get so dry that I routinely have a noticeable improvement in hydration from any lotion. This was the first lotion I used that actually appeared to heal the signs of irritation and wear making them disappear instead of just looking rehydrated.

This lotion seems lightly scented and it has a watery feel to it. When rubbing it into your skin, it does make your skin feel hydrated but the feeling is short-lived and you m have to reapply it very often. I didn't notice any major benefits of using this lotion and am honestly disappointed with it. For reference, I'm in my late 30s and have slightly dry skin…this lotion did not to better my skin.

It does not leave the skin sticky or oily which is a huge plus! There is a slight scent but nothing overpowering at all. Amazing how some people see results in as little as 2 days.
