Greg: Thank you for sharing your experience with the Samsung TU8000 TV. I am sorry you are experiencing issues with your sound cutting out and were not able to resolve it with Customer Support. If the audio drops out issue is happening when connected via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause. We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.
