[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit 8 months ago for our then 16 month old and have taken numerous 8+ hour car rides and she passes out in this seat. The only knock I have so far on the seat is that the cover slips off of the sides of the seat everynow and then, which exposes the underframe of the unit and the child could remove the cover while sitting in the seat.

We liked this seat initially but only had it for two years and it's already broken. The part that you use to adjust the recline snapped off and the straps aren't tightening all of the way. Very frustrating to spend so much money on a car seat to only have it last two years. We will not be purchasing another Britax.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Car Seat in Contour Gray from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We installed the seat for my 2 year old who was ready for a forward facing seat. When deciding to change her to forward facing, the first thing we thought about was her safety! As you would for any product, we checked for the safety ratings, and they were superior ratings. As we installed the seat, we already knew based on the weight and the install methods, we felt secure about what we had read. The seat has a bottom section that lifts to allow the seat belt to run through and under the seat section, which made it so secure it wouldn't even move when we tried and that was before we also anchored it into the back of the seat. The mechanic for the opening of this section requires a twist of a lock, which a child would never be able to do, so it would be nearly impossible for it to ever open up without an adult needing to do so. The instructions that come with it give you different options for what you can use to install the seat so you should definitely read it prior and know which method you are using! We had not done this and it took longer than it needed, but whenever we have to move the seat in the future, we will be able to do it in a few minutes. The fabric of the seat shout high quality! They are soft and durable but most importantly, washable! Since we have a toddler who now loves to snack on the go…washable is key! The insert of the seat is called contour gray. It is a lighter gray than our previous seat and I'm excited that it will not show every single spill as our darker car seat previously had. The seat is missing one important feature if you have an independent little one like I do…cup holders! I have since looked and you can add accessory cupholders. The seat width is comfortable for a child, and it is more streamlined than seats that have built in cupholders. If you have a smaller vehicle or multiple seats, this is probably a plus! You will not have to spare safety and comfort for a smaller width seat. Another plus for security is the flame-retardant fabric! Overall this has been a great addition to the needs of our family…the clicktight seat belt feature is by far our favorite! Car seats are all about safety and this has that plus a great look and feel!

I love how easy it is to secure it in with the easy access. The padding and comfortability my daughter has when she's in it. Also the different settings that it is capable of!! By far one of the best investments in regards to safety and durability. I can't wait to try the next car seat up for when she gets bigger. Thanks Britax we love it!!!

I replaced my son's Diono Radian RXT with this seat... and it was a terrible choice. The release to loosen the straps isn't easy for me to reach, I cannot get it to recline, and the crotch buckle is way too low when you're trying to strap in a child in the middle seat. This is by far the worst seat I've owned.

I PURCHASED THE CLICKTIGHT SPLASH 4 MONTHS AGO AND THE FABRIC ON THE CAR SEAT HAS 2 HOLES IN NOW. WE USE IT ON A DAILY BASIS BUT I FEEL IT SHOULDN'T BE FALLING APART. WE MOVE IT TO ANOTHER VECHICLE SELDOMLY AND THAT IS A LITTLE BIT MORE CONVIENENT BUT I FEEL THE PRODUCT HAS SOME DOWNFALLS THAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT. INSTALLATION ISN'T AS EASY AS THE DEMO STATES AND DOESN'T ALWAYS CLICK TIGHTLY. I AM NOT SURE IT WAS WORTH THE BUY. WE HAD A CHICCO INFANT SEAT BEFORE AND I WAS HAPPIER WITH THAT THAN THIS PURCHASE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this seat last Autumn for my daughter who was out growing her infant seat. I compared seats for weeks and decided on this one. One of the best decisions I've made. Couldn't be any easier to install. Very comfortable for my little one. The only real draw backs I've found are the crotch strap is very short, it's a heavy seat and you have to be very careful to make sure the pull strap for the harness is not shut inside when you push the seat down. Over all, great car seat. Would highly recommend!

I have a smaller sporty sedan and this car seat is so easy to install securely and fits nicely with room for others in the backseat. This car seat is very easy to install and baby is comfortable. The best rear facing car seat I have owned yet! I will be purchasing this car seat again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this convertible car seat for our daughter when she was 14 months when she was transitioning out of her infant car seat. We love it! She's on the petit size, and fits her perfectly with lots of room to grow, but still giving me peace of mind that she's snug and safe. It's a heavy and sturdy. I love that you DON'T have to re-thread the buckle as your child grows; all you have do it push and pull a lever. The Click-Tight feature is awesome!! It's reassuring to hear the "click" and know your child is safety buckled in.

We have loved the Britax brand carseats since our first son was born 5 years ago. Now we have two boys and have transitioned them to the Boulevard when they outgrew their rear-facing B-agile seats. They love their seats for the comfort and I love them for so much more. We were in a violent car wreck last year where our car flipped 3 times end-over-end. Both boys not only survived, but were held securely with little but scratches. The carseats looked brand new after the wreck and even the officer commented on how he would buy Britax seeing how well they protected the boys. I am so thankful for the Britax products and the hours of work spent in R&D.
