Love the safety features

I have always purchased Britax car seats for all my children and this is by far the best seat. Love all the safety features and the new CLICK TIGHT feature has made it a breeze to install with such a secure fit. The car seat does not move an inch after the install! Love it! However, uninstalling the seat is more of a challenge for me. I find it extremely difficult to turn the click tight button to uninstall the seat. There are times where I need my husband to help me and even he has difficulties with this process. Also, the car seat is on the heavy side and would be quite a bother to transport from one car to another on a frequent basis. All in all, we do love this car seat!

When uninstalling the ClickTight seats, it is helpful to unbuckle the vehicle seat first before attempting to open the ClickTight. If it is still difficult to open the ClickTight, press down on the seating area to compress the vehicle seat, while turning the ClickTight key. You shouldn’t have any further difficulties uninstalling your ClickTight seat when using one or both of these tips.

So easy to install! Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought two Boulevard Click Tight Convertible Car seats, one for each of our vehicles. This is the easiest car seat to install - and to install right every time! My son loves the seat, it is very comfortable for him. And we love the safety features the seat offers. We loved the seat so much, we bought one for Grandma's car and plan to buy Britax in the future for our next child, due this November! Thank you Britax for making not only a great seat, but also taking the hassle out of installing a car seat! We love it!

BRITAX-BOULEVARD CLICKTIGHT SPLASH

I PURCHASED THE CLICKTIGHT SPLASH 4 MONTHS AGO AND THE FABRIC ON THE CAR SEAT HAS 2 HOLES IN NOW. WE USE IT ON A DAILY BASIS BUT I FEEL IT SHOULDN'T BE FALLING APART. WE MOVE IT TO ANOTHER VECHICLE SELDOMLY AND THAT IS A LITTLE BIT MORE CONVIENENT BUT I FEEL THE PRODUCT HAS SOME DOWNFALLS THAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT. INSTALLATION ISN'T AS EASY AS THE DEMO STATES AND DOESN'T ALWAYS CLICK TIGHTLY. I AM NOT SURE IT WAS WORTH THE BUY. WE HAD A CHICCO INFANT SEAT BEFORE AND I WAS HAPPIER WITH THAT THAN THIS PURCHASE.

Comfy, easy to use, and SAFE!!

We bought this convertible car seat for our 1 year old. Our daughter is petite (20lbs), and it fits her comfortably with room to grow into. One thing I was looking for was the head rest to be a little wider, and this car seat has it. I absolutely love the click-tight feature!! Another thing we love about this car seat is the shoulder straps are adjustable by pulling the handle on top of the car seat; NO more re-threading the straps as your child grows. This is a really heavy car seat, at least for me. But it's always in the car so we don't need to move it often. Only thing I would change is the instructions on how to attach the cup holder; no big deal since we have a cup holder in the car anyways!

Amazing Car seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience with this car seat has been amazing. The installment was super easy even with my small car, it is sturdy but still lightweight. The memory form is really soft and easy to clean. When strapping my son into the car seat the click tight straps make it really easy to properly and securely to harness him in. I am also really impressed with the safety rating, and would highly recommend this product to anyone that is expecting. Thank you Weespring Parent Panel for me trying out this product, this one is my favorite by far!

Straps difficult to adjust

I bought this car seat for my grandson when he turned 2 years old. I found that is very difficult to adjust the straps. The crouch strap is very short and I struggle each time I try to hook the straps especially when he has on jeans. The strap is so short that the fabric of his pants keeps getting caught when trying to strap him in. Also the click type lack is very difficult to turn. At one point we had to use pliers to rotate the latch so we could adjust the straps. I am very very disappointed in this product and I would never recommend purchasing this car seat.

Great for extending rear-facing and moving between cars

We've had this seat a little over 2 years now. We bought for our average sized 1 year old when she outgrew her infant seat. I knew I wanted to keep her rear-facing as long as possible (to at least 4) and I didn't want to buy multiple car seats (we only have 1 car but my parents take her out and about). After moving the car seat between cars every couple of weeks and even traveling with it on airplanes, I can't recommend the click tight system enough! Its never hard to get a good installation and I've used it in a dozen different cars. The recline angles allow it to fit rear facing in smaller cars without making the front seat unusable to all but the tallest passengers. Its important to not over tighten the seatbelt if you are having trouble closing the seat or re-opening it. I haven't had trouble with the harness system but I've never used the seat forward facing (other than on the plane). I do need to give a good tug on the straps to completely loosen them. I do this to keep them even. My daughter is currently 3 years old, 37 inches tall, and 31 pounds and she has never had issues with the crotch strap being too short. The harness is supposed to fit across the thighs not the groin so make sure the buckles are all in the right place if you are having trouble. It is also impossible to adjust the recline once the seat is installed rear-facing so keep that in mind. I also find it difficult to move the harness up or down when its in the car but its easy to take the seat out and adjust the height. For flying, make sure you have a cart because its HEAVY and the belt path is a bit of a pain with airplane seat belts and the buckle will probably bug your kid so have a sweat shirt to pad it. It is also a bit of a pain to clean the cover. I've only washed it once in 2 years after my daughter peed all over it. It was easy to remove the cover and hand wash it but it took FOREVER to dry. I had to use a hair dryer because it was still damp on Monday after washing the seat cover on a Friday night (I do live in a humid climate). Now I spot clean only and ignore the filth from her shoes.... I love the click-tight so much I am planning to buy the click-tight frontier booster when we get a second car.

Very happy parents

So my husband and I looked at tons of different options for our son for a convertible car seat. We had Britax B-Safe car seats and had wanted to stay with their line of stuff since we loved them so much. After much research on reviews from different people we decided to go with the britax boulevard click tight. It is so easy to install and so easy to remove. Yes it is big a bulky taking up space in the back seat. But how I see it is my little guy is safe and secure. His care seat doesn't wiggle around like other ones I have seen and he has lots of padding and cushion. He falls asleep in it very comfortably when we go places. And it has plenty of room for him to grow into it and we dont have to flip him to forward facing for a long time which is nice.

Super easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has a Ford Ranger pickup that he occasionally uses to pick up our toddler from daycare and space is always an issue. We've actually had to return a car seat that was deemed very safe but was just too big and bulky to be safe on the passenger side. This is not a problem with the Britax Boulevard ClickTight! It has a slimmer design than a lot of other convertible car seats yet has a lot of padding (with memory foam) that makes me feel safe having him in a pickup. Also love the impact-absorbing frame on it! Another thing we loved is that it is really simple to install, especially when using the vehicle belt system and not the LATCH system. Most others have been a pain to tighten to really feel secure but this wasn't at all and had helpful arrows of where to thread the seat belt. Only con I can think of is it's pretty heavy, so maybe not a great one for air travel. However it would be very simple to put in a rental car. All in all, I really love this car seat and have a lot of trust in the Britax brand. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this car seat!

Boulevard needs a cup holder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this carseat in exchange for an honest review from Stellar Product Testing Panel. This seat is sturdy and seems like a quality, safe, car seat. It our first Britax product and if this seat had a cup holder, I would purchase. Pros: 1. ClickTight system. I (apparently) have been strapping my children into their car seats way too tight. The audible click when the harness is appropriately tight is a wonderful feature. I'm sure my daughter appreciates this! It is very nice that the seat locks into place on top of the seatbelt and is very secure. Definitely more secure than just using a seatbelt or LATCH anchors. 2. Very soft material 3. Extra padding The car seat that this has replaced (NOT Britax) digs into my daughter's belly at the harness buckle. We installed an aftermarket pad toward a barrier between, but it did next to nothing. This Britax Boulevard seat, however, has diligently solved that problem. There is a nearly 1/2" thick and soft pad that is positioned behind the buckle. WONDERFUL! The shoulder pads (labled as high-impact absorbing) are a nice quality as well. They are recommended for use with forward facing seats, optional for smaller children that are still rear facing. 4. I love that it does not contain added flame-retardant chemicals. 5. The seat itself looks nice. It appears comfortable. My daughter says it's more comfortable than her last seat, but that brings me to the cons. Cons: 1. NO CUP HOLDER We have become accustomed to this feature on our last seat and may honestly be a deal breaker. It did not take me very long to get tired of fetching a sippy cup or snacks. 2. Leg room My daughter can't sit with her feet in the seat. She likes the option to do that if she's going to be in it for a while. I wish this came with some sort of leg extention/support. 3. Support padding Our last seat had a lot of support/impact padding. This seat does not. There is only one thin pad between the structure and the child in both the back and bottom of the seat. My daughter says its comfy, but on a long car ride, I cannot imagine that sitting directly on a steel frame can feel great. (Our last seat had a plastic shell surrounding the seat- this does not.) It does, however have a deeper, more streamlined head support. Overall, my two favorite features on this seat are the serious crotch buckle padding and the deep head support/protection. The head support part (the part that adjusts the shoulder straps) is in a deep U shape. It is narrow and looks like it will prevent head drooping when the rare car seat nap happens. (It has not happened yet, so I am purely speculating) It looks like it would make a good headrest for a sleeping little person. We live in Florida and I do wish we would have had the opportunity to test a cool flow version of this seat. That seems like a fantastic option.
