Having natural gas allows me to run this generator without having to think about the fuel level like propane, or the maintenance that comes with gasoline while still having those as options if needed. Comes with nice quality NG and LP hoses. Unit is easy to assemble and appears high in quality. After setting up, I connected the unit to NG and it fired right up. I feel the only thing I would like to see different would be a 50A service port. I know at 240v and NG you can only hit about 30amp, but with 120v you can double that. This would give more flexibility when connected to a home service panel.

I was able to get it set up by myself in 30 minutes. The included a quick-connect natural gas hose made things nice and simple and it started right away. I ran it under load for about four hours and was able to recharge all of my portable batteries at the same time. Make note: even though the oil reservoir lists 1100ml as the max volume, it only accepted about 900ml before overfilling. Use 3/4s of the included motor-oil. The oil plug is next to the LP/NG input valve and is recessed. You'll need to kneel down to see it. Running sound level was between 87&90db

Had problem getting gasoline during a prior outage. Great to now have a Tri-Fuel model with fuel options. Have a connection to my natural gas supply. Runs great, started right up. Would be nice if the Intelliguage provided more info such as Watts used or Amps. Expect that the generator will be able to service my whole house. Now that I have it, guaranteed I won't have a power outage.

After going thru Hurricane Nickolas in September 2021 and being without power for 5 days on the Gulf Coast and we were also without power in February of 2021 for several days during the Texas freeze. I started researching generators as I did not want to be without power again. During the February freeze we we had extremely limited supplies of gasoline, so I decided natural gas was going to be my best option. I was not wanting a generator for RV travel I simply wanted a home backup system. Ordered the Champion Tri-Fuel as I felt it would best suit my needs. Setup was very simple and straight forward. I followed all the instructions in the manual and startup was very easy. I connected the Tri-Fuel to my RV for testing and break-in period in which it performed very well. I'm very happy with my purchase and feel good about having a power backup plan. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have shopped generators for over a year and this is the only one that offers all the features I needed. This machine was ready to run out of the box and the oil added. The quality of the fit an finish are very evident. This machine on Natural Gas is very smooth and starts up with only one or two crank overs. Highly recommend this generator to anyone looking for emergency power with a minimum of hassle.

Just purchased and have yet to put it to work but after doing much research into many brands and types of generators I found this Champion tri fuel to be the best! It has the benefit of using three types of fuel but I like the ability to use natural gas. It is straight forward in set-up and use. Also I like the availability of parts and accessories.

This seems like a great generator. I'm glad I had it shipped to my house via truck because it was heavy! Much heavier than I expected. I am assuming that this means it is a good quality item with plenty of power. We just had twin boys so my wife says we need back up power since our new neighborhood seems to loose power all the time in the winter. We have an electrical company coming in a few weeks to install an interlock circuit hookup for us and natural gas hookup. I will wait to test it out then so I don't put regular gas through the carburetor. Cant wait to test it out. I am assuming now that we have the generator the power will never go out and I wont ever need it hopefully, but if I didn't have it the power would have probably been out by now and we would have 10 feet of snow and locusts and probably a zombie apocalypse not far behind!

I purchased this and put it together in less than 10 minutes. Came with everything I needed to connect to our home gas line and fire it up immediately. Is it wrong that it has me looking forward to the next power outage? High quality, easy to operate and sharp looking.

This 100416 is replacing the 40046 I purchased in 2008 and it still runs like a top. The only reason I am replacing it is because I need a generator that has an electric start and a bit more wattage. After setting up the 100416 I am sure the quality and dependability will be just like the 40046. I have set this one up with a 100lb. propane tank and plan to use it with gasoline and propane.

I just received this generator so I cannot speak for the long term quality. However, I am very happy with the initial quality of the product. It was delivered fairly quickly. Putting on the wheels and legs was quick and easy. I put oil and gas in it and it fired right up.
