We have natural gas and have been looking for a generator to run off that. After looking at many generators, we found this one. It fits the bill perfectly. Can be run right from our grill hook up or off gas if needed. Hope to never need it but comforting knowing it's there if we do.

Great generator with a lot of flexibility - 3 fuel and different outlets. There are not many options when you are looking for a natural gas portable generator. Natural gas is the great option in my area. Even when we loose power after the hurricane, natural gas is still available. You do not need to run under the rain with canisters to refuel your generator. No problems of storage with aging gas. Everything you need is included in the package, you just connect your wires. Electric start is a great upgrade from my 3750W Husky generator.

It was very easy to put together and very easy to start. I am just waiting for my gas line hook up from my plumber and I am set just in case this winter I lose power in my house. This generator fits my needs for my home. I have a smaller generator but needed a bigger one and with the electric start, this is awesome no more pulling the cord to start.

I purchased this generator for rhe tri-fuel capabilities. Having survived a 9 day power outage in Oregon at my sister's house with a tri-fuel generator running on propane from a huge tank, I figure I should be prepared as well to run off NG. Tested it out on gas and propane and it runs very well. Still need to hook up NG.

Looked for a long time and at many generators for a tri-fuel model. I am very pleased with ease of changing oil and fuel as needed. This is a home back-up unit in case of power outages. now don't have to worry about gasoline and propane availability in case of storms and an extended outage.

I have read and researched different generators out there in the past and a few years ago recommended the Champion brand to my in-laws for a duel fuel propane and gasoline model in the 8000W size for emergency backup. They did not want to store gasoline for long term so it seemed like the best option to get a duel fuel propane/ gas system this way propane stays forever and can be used most times of the year. This was very much the case during hurricane season on the east coast of the US. I decided a while ago that my gasoline generator although functional and over ten years old was a good system but my house was recently converted to natural gas and it would be better to have a system that used that unlimited option in blackouts. The Tri-Fuel seems to be the best system out there for all three fuels. It came with all the accessories to run on propane and natural gas so easy to hook up and run right out of the box. Champion offers two starting options on this unit both pull start and battery. The generator even recharges the battery while running but I will keep it on a trickle charge while sitting off in the garage. Champion even makes a all weather canopy to run it in the rain or snow. It seems like this tri-fuel system is a good emergency standby whole house system that will be there for when I need it and offer different fuel options in a world that disaster can strike at any moment. This will offer comfort to my children and father for when the power goes out and a reliable back up is needed, Also the digital readout is great to see the load on the unit as well as the safety of having a CO2 cut off alarm which will turn off the generator automatically if it senses a CO2 buildup in the area. Of course run this outside never in a building or garage. Also keep some working CO2 detectors alarms around the interior of the house as normal safety prevention anyway. Even called the Champion Help Desk line and had great call with any questions answered. A great product

Someone really thought through every detail for the design of this generator. Short term storage instructions say to remove drain bolt on carburetor, smart. Most small engine instructions never say this. Only issue I had during assembly was the frame appears to be aluminum or light gauge metal, and the frame tube was squeezing when fastening feet. Oil drain hose, again, smart! I like engineers who give thorough thought towards maintenance on small engines. Although I haven't had a chance to use the generator too it's full capacity, initial impression is great.

Just received my Champion 8000W/10000W Electric Start Tri-Fuel Gas Propane Natural Gas Generator Yesterday. Today, I assembled the generator I ran it through it 5-hour break in. I followed the instructions for Natural gas hook-up which was a breeze. I had the quick connects from a previous generator so the tie-in was the same. As a test I loaded the generator with a small A. C., Light duty Freezer and Light duty Refrigerator and the generator handled all without issue. Meets my needs! Would buy again!

It connects to my home gas line, takes a few minutes to purge the natural gas line and it is running. No more worries about getting gas for the generator. You can take it anywhere and use gas, propane, or natural gas. I have only used it on natural gas so far. Runs great.

Living in Alabama, tornadoes are a reality. I bought this generator to run the basics to include the fridge and freezer. Generator was easy to assemble and once I put gas in it and went to start it, it fired right up. No concerns at all. Champion is a Consumer Reports best buy!
