Very easy to set up and use. I love that it has all the "miscellaneous" pieces needed to set up the Natural Gas and the Propane connections, which adds great value and saves major hassle. Fired right up and works reliably so far. Great peace of mind.

I purchased 100416 tri fuel generator and Had trouble from the begining , but the customer support was awesome and walked me through getting problem resolved, they dont leave you hang out to dry .. leave your phone number for a call back and they always call you ! How refreshing was that !!! Generator runs great on three different fuel types. Using it for back up emergency .cant say enough about customer support

Set up and installation for natural gas use was a breeze, It starts easily and brings a great source of comfort knowing if we exoerience another hurricane, my family will have reliable and quiet access to the power needed to live comfortably and safely while waiting for power to be restored.

The Champion name and Tri Fuel option was the convincing factors in my purchasing this generator. It did take about 6 weeks for delivery, but that's 2 weeks short of what Norwall Generators quoted me. So I had time to prepare storage and locations for the generator. I was told I had to inspect the box upon delivery and not to accept delivery if there was any damage. Mine had a small scuff on the cardboard box. That's it. The driver even placed it in my garage for me instead of just leaving it at the end of the driveway. I wanted to be able to run a generator using my outdoor Natural Gas Line on my patio. The fittings and hoses came with the generator. I am now into my 4th hour of the 5 hour break-in period. It started with no effort on the very first try. While running the generator I walked around outside the house and the noise levels, less than 30 feet from it, are negligible. So noise is not a factor. I was concerned after reading the manual about changing the oil after the initial 5 hours break-in, as it is supplied with conventional 10W-30 oil and said drain and use Synthetic Oil after that. Old school training told me not to do that, but after a quick call to Champion they said it is safe to make the change. And suggested Mobil 1 Synthetic. So that's what it gets in about another hour or so. Even given the reduced output from running on Natural Gas (about 8800 watts) versus Gasoline at 10,000 watts this generator will more than supply me with the power I need to keep my home in electricity during an outage. And you always have the options of fuels if you like for the added output. The versatility of this generator is perfect. Highly recommend anyone to give this one serious consideration when buying a generator. You won't be disappointed.

I don't yet have an NG valve for this one yet, but we have NG at the house so I'll get one installed for ease of use in future. I had an electrician install an outlet on our panel and tested it off propane. Quick and easy start and power runs through the house perfectly - HVAC, fridge, lights, etc are all good to go. Not saying I want a real reason to use this thing, but it's nice knowing we're ready for the next power outage. Electrician has installed many generators and was impressed with this one. Hoses for NG and propane are included. Cable is separate (reasonably priced ones out there if you don't need name brand).

Assembly instruction are easy to follow. I have only run it through the break-in period. It started right up and ran flawlessly for the recommended 5 hours. I did have a few questions for technical support that I submitted using the online form that were promtly answered.

This is my 3rd purchase of a Champion generator. 1st and 2nd purchase was 2 years ago for the model 76533, one for myself and the other was a gift for our son. The son said it came in handy when his power went out a few times following some storms. Myself, I only had to use it once for testing, did some trimming on bushes, it worked great. I haven't had any power outages so far that required backup power. Anyway, my 3rd purchase was a few weeks ago on the model 100416. After getting the other unit, the wife a I decided to go with a larger model that will also run our furnace and well. I'll be getting a transfer switch installed to make it easier to operate, if and when needed in the future.

With all of the storms in the Sierras, we lose power frequently. My power was out 9 out of 14 days over Christmas. Bought a different brand that failed after only 4 hours. Returned it and ordered this one. Super versatile. Runs on 3 different fuels. At 8500 watts it will power my whole house. And, if I hook it up to natural gas....I could live without power forever! No more Christmas gatherings ruined.

I am using this generator to power our home basics during our frequent power outages. We have a transfer panel and the hope is that this can run Central AC/heat, fridge and some basic lights and things. I'm realistic in that we won't be running washing machine, dryer and dishwasher at same time but I believe this will handle the basics for comfort nicely. Running it with NG (sole reason I bought tri-fuel) It started up beautifully and ran strong. I'm still load testing and breaking in but so far it's great!

Haven't taken it to our vacation house yet to fire it up. Had a smaller generator and when I saw I could run on natural gas I was sold. No running to fill up gas cans so it had my name on it. Summer time isn't a power outage time but winter left us in the dark so I will be ready next time.
