Didn't realize I would need this so quickly after purchasing. Power went out, hooked in up (in the dark, it was that easy) and waalaah! We had power! It did shut off after roughly 6 hours (It was outside and 20 ft from the house) but it turned right back on when I restarted it (I will have to look into that further.

I just bought this generator due to the Tri-fuel. Came undamaged which was nice and for being so heavy and big, a little unexpected and happy with that. Easy set up with the wheels and legs. The handle that folds out is nice for wheeling it around. Haven't started it yet to use it which will happen soon enough. I'll leave another review after that. So far so good.

Great product. The tri fuel system gives additional security that we can run essentials in power outages. In West Kentucky we lose power a few times a year and sometimes for several days. It's a heavy piece of equipment,so I wouldn't recommend it for someone elderly or have limited physical capabilities.

To be able to use 3 different types of fuel is a game changer. I'm tickled about the versatility of this product, I mainly use the NG option, but it's nice to know I have the other 2 options if needed. My first electric start makes it so easy to get the lights back on in a pinch. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a reliable product in a difficult situation

My tri fuel 8000 watt generator was put to the test a couple of weeks ago after a near by disaster left us without power in this Texas heat wave. I connected my Champion 100416 right into the transfer switch and had air conditioner plus all lights, computor and T,V. working. July left us with 28 days of 100 degree plus, so not just any generator would do.

I bought the Champion Tri-Fuel Generator Model 100416 after that has it. I like the fact that it can be run by three different fuel sources. this baby is a beast with great features to power my home in case of emergencies. I also have a property that I am developing on that I plan to use the generator to power equipment.

Bought the Tri Fuel generator because we have natural gas here and to have that option is perfect. When the generator arrived, filled it with gas and fired it up. Started right away. Now I have to get a natural gas connection on the side of our house to be able to connect to it. Saw some videos on line about constructing a cover for the generator.....so that may be my next project. This is the perfect generator for our needs.

I used the generator for a power outage for the first time today and was very pleased. Just got through installing the transfer switch and hooked up the generator. It does a nice job. Noise output was not loud enough to be uncomfortable. Ran it on propane but will install a natural gas hookup. The manual is well written and does a good job of explaining operations. Very please with Champion at this moment.

I ordered this generator, for home use, in early September and received it a few weeks later. Finally 10/29/21 I had a chance to load test it and it performed beyond my expectations. I have a newer SEER14, 4 ton a/c with a hard start kit installed and it ran fine and barely made the gen breathe hard. 5 hour load test and all worked perfect. This machine is so much less expensive than an automatic system which was quoted at $15000. Now I need to train the wife to run it which should be no problem. Instructions were simple and it starts and runs great.

I purchased this generator for a couple of reasons, name brand recognition, tri-fuel capability, and ability to use as a home back-up generator. Generator starts easily with the battery startup, conversion to other fuels is also easy and the 8000W rating is perfect for running most appliances that I need or want in the house back-up mode. The engine runs smoothly, and I have been very pleased with the overall ease of use!
