Constant background static

Incredibly comfortable and light weight. Easy to pair and quick to charge. My main issue is the constant static background noise during and in between songs. This is a big inconvenience for me as I generally have my volume at a low level while I'm studying. When I tried turning up my music to drown out the static, the static noise actually increased with the volume. Tried adjusting my music EQ and playback settings, factory reset the headphones, tried multiple devices and searched for answers on the internet and nothing worked. If you expect quality sound dont get these headphones, unless you enjoy static their not worth the money. Very disappointed.

Decent

Ive had these headphones for a couple of months now. Wanted to test them out and figure out how good they are in the long run. Started off as a decent set of headphones at a reasonable price for the first month. Then i started having some blue tooth connection issues. Like the songs would have lots of static to them as if my connection was about to give out. This is random and doesnt happen all the time but it still happens. Fir the price, not bad. Glad I opted in for the extended warranty because I think I will be needing it with these

Very disappointed, stopped working within weeks!

This was my first time buying JBL, I went for it because the brand had very positive reviews. I bought it for Christmas and it was working perfectly for the first 4 weeks, then randomly from a minute to another the right earbud went very faint, then completely silent. I tried everything that was recommended but nothing worked. Being very disappointed I took it for repair under the warranty where I was told they didn't fix these models as they were 'not worth fixing' so I was given a new one. It hadn't been 2 weeks yet and the exact same happened! First the music suddenly sounds like it's coming from a tunnel, then the right earbud goes completely muted. Not that all these matter when you have to keep sending it for repair every other week but the sound was amazing though while it was working, it was comfy to wear and the battery life was decent. I suspect it must be only a model defect, however I'm beyond disappointed as I had high hopes for JBL. I'm sorry I don't think I will buy again or would recommend it to anyone at all...

Great value for the price

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Been using a lot since then. If you consider overall features, sound quality and price, it's great. It doesn't check all the boxes, though. Not the most comfortable and the upper part finish makes the whole thing kind of unstable in your head. Minimal things that prevent the product to have a stellar/surprising performance. And, c'mon JBL, not even a little bag to store a very portable headphone??? Went for the blue one and no regrets.

Hands-Free AG Audio NEVER work

I ordered one for conference calls, but the hands-free audio never works. If I you want to use the mic, you must use another device as speaker. Or you can only use it in A2DP mode, that means listening only. Because hand-free audio gives you robotic chaotic sounds.

I like it!

I like the JBL brand and bought two this time. I hope that this one does not go the way of my previous one which is still looks great and works fine, except for one issue. One day the socket where we plug in the recharge cable went inside and charging it became impossible,

Excellent Value and Sound Quality!

I purchased these headphones for myself at the Black Friday shopping sale. I have since put them through a LOT, and they have held up as good, or better, than much more expensive headphones I have purchased in the past. The sound is clear, crisp, and well-distributed. They are comfortable to wear for hours. I run, and typically, I have trouble keeping headphones on, because they "bounce" off. The JBL Bluetooth over ear headphones did not do this. They clung to my head securely, but not so tightly as to cause pain, or irritation. Cleaning the headphones is easy and quick - no moving parts to worry about. Overall, I think these headphones are an excellent quality for any price - but an excellent value at their price. Highly recommend!

2 star/fair

I've used these headphones for nearly a year now. The battery life is good. And the sound quality is great, EXCEPT for the constant background static. These head phones are great if you want to jam, but they're super annoying for listening at a lower volume. I want to also say I love my jbl charge 3, been using it over 3 years and have nothing bad to say about it. I'll buy jbl stuff again. The quality im used to just isn't in these 500bt's.

Good Sound but not convinient

It has a good sound, I like it. But It got this robotic sound when I use it with my laptop. The technical guy "Mark" made a replacement thanks to him but I had to play around to make it work on my laptop. It worked good with Apple. Still doesn't work with Zoom and Skype. I use it on Youtube (web app) and I got some interruptions. Mark said that it is a hardware issue but I still use my wireless mouse with no interruptions. So, if it is good, I believe it should work perfectly without interruptions as well. Keep in mind that I need to disconnect it completely from my phone while I am using it with my laptop. In brief, it is not bad but it is just inconvinient. You can find better options in the market.

Great Headphones!

I bought these a couple of months ago so I can Bluetooth them to my television. They paired quickly to my adapter and the sound was crystal clear. The padding on the ears is extremely comfortable and doesn't make my ears hurt. I like that the headband is adjustable and stays in place great. I would definitely recommend these!
