They also to well be used of there sealed tops to keep fruit longer as well. They are easy to store away as they can just stack inside one and other for the most part.

I didn't think there was any truth to Rubbermaid's claim that their Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage containers would work as well as they claim but buy was I wrong. True to their word, these containers are 100% leak proof. As a working mom who always packs a lunch for myself and my kids,these are a much needed and welcome addition to our pantry. I can now put left over soups in mine and my kids' lunches and don't have to worry that they will leak all over our back packs. I absolutely love this container.

I bought these over six months ago and continue to be VERY happy with my set of containers. They seal well, wash well in the dishwasher, and do not show many signs of wear and tear after much consistent use. I'd highly recommend these for food storage use. I try to stay away from microwaving foods in the containers, but for regular fridge and freezer storage, these are a must have!

Rubbermaid Brilliance has remained true to its claim through several uses. It has remained leak proof and stain free, despite many microwave reheats! My microwave is clean and Rubbermaid Brilliance remains beautiful and brilliant! Amazing! Brilliant design and highly recommended!

The Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage containers do just that with the leak proof seal and tight latches holding everything in and avoiding any spills in the lunch bag. I also like the clean look with clear bases and lids. These containers come in convenient sizes. You can easily store a family size meal in the freezer in the large one or take the smaller one to work for your lunch or snack. The only thing I would change about it is that I wish it came in glass.

Most importantly, they are 100% leak-proof. I tested this with water and several other materials and holding it directly upside down. Obviously, it's important to make sure you've pressed it closed and put the clasps on properly, but for me it worked perfectly. The stain resistance is good too. We tried it with a particularly stinky pasta sauce and there was no residual smell or orange stain. It might stain over time, but every other tub I have stains with sauce on the first use, so I'm very happy. They heat up evenly, are easy to clean and I really like being able to leave the lid on top (open latches) to prevent food splashing in the microwave. I'd definitely buy these again.
