I am in awe of these products because they are perfectly clear! When I chop vegetables or fruit for my kids each week, they know exactly what's inside and can go straight to it. The lids are easy to snap on, and easy to clean. I have now tossed out old Rubbermaid containers that were stained from red sauce and replaced them with this 6-piece set. I’m a food blogger and spend a great deal of time in the kitchen, so when Rubbermaid decided to send me a set of their new food storage containers for review purposes I was really able to run them through their paces. Over the past few weeks they’ve been stuffed with soup, stew, chili, curry, and other random dinner leftovers with great results. I haven’t had a single leak in my lunchbox yet, which is why these have quickly become my favorite containers for taking food on-the-go. What really makes these different from other latch-style containers is the fact that the seal isn’t removable—it’s attached directly to the lid which eliminates any chance of the seal slipping and allowing wet contents like salad dressing, salsa, or soup to slip through the cracks and all over your lunchbox. This, coupled with the built in vents below the latches that allow you to keep the lid on while warming your food, is what makes the design of these containers so brilliant. As much as I’ve enjoyed these containers they do have one major drawback—they’re incredibly difficult to open, so they may not be the best choice for anyone with impaired grip strength or for smaller children who are still developing their fine motor skills (my five year old really struggles when trying to open these containers and usually ends up spilling the contents everywhere.) This is a great product ideal for Students to bring their lunch to school without having to worry about it spilling all over their books in their school bag. No bpa makes it a smart safe choice. We had filled it with hot stew and even getting bumped and tossed around in a bookbag there was no leakage whatsoever.

I bought several of these containers in various sizes, based on the great reviews. However, in less than a month I have my first casualty. I only use the containers in the fridge and for dry storage (because of the airtight seal). The lid for my 4.7 cup container is certainly no longer air tight. I hope this is not the standard as these are pricey and not as durable as reviews implied.

So I love that we haven't had any leaks, and no staining! Yay! What we do have is what looks like tiny cracks throughout several of our pieces and even some that have a wavy look as though they were starting to melt. Sad because I wanted more of these and was looking into adding the bigger containers to our pantry. Now not sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are perfect storage containers. We use them for sugar, flour, and rice. It has nice tight and secure lids. They are dishwasher safe and easy to clean. They are clear so you can easily see how much is in there.

Very cute and convenient, but not leak proof. I thought I was maybe putting the lid on wrong because initially it wouldn’t leak but my husband swore it would. After about a minute of watching the container, I could see the liquid seeping through the rubber and coming out the container.

The fact that is see through they loved because once it’s in the fridge with washed fruit they find it easier for them get ready and eat. I loved the fact that the lid is airtight so it takes the fruit longer to go bad. Also the fact that it can fit in my mom bag. The quality of the container is great bang for your buck. I would 100% recommend not only to mommy friends but for people who like to take lunch in a cute container.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a guaranteed not to leak container. It is a right size to heat up soup or solid food. It is microwave safe with its special flaps on the top, allowing you to microwave your food directly in the container, without anything splattering. The special suction on the top allows food to stay fresh because of the seal. It is dishwasher safe and doesn't stain. My only concern is that it is not made of glass.

It holds two half bags of cereal or three 2/3 bags of cereal! Lol! It has kept it fresh for 2 weeks!! I am going to order an second. The way we go through cereal this will save some money on keeping it from going stale.
