[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these containers and they are truly air tight. The lid locks down and creates a tight seal yet is easy to put on and take off. I live at the beach and it is so humid. I can put food in these and they aren't damaged by the humidity at all. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I'm afraid the plastic could break or crack easily. With three kids and 2 cats things easily get knocked down and I'm afraid they wouldn't survive a fall.

I received the six piece set to review and it is now my favorite go to for storing and transporting my made at home lunches and any left overs. The containers locking lid feature keeps the food's integrity intact and super fresh tasting for longer than my normal storage options. They are the perfect size for my lunch portions and the stacking feature is space efficient in my already crowded fridge. I've had no issues with spills when transporting lunches in my bag to work. Not to mention, the quality of the material is fantastic, I can clearly see my food in hi-def even after multiple washes in the dishwasher, there is no fogging or dulling of the material. I am definitely going to buy more of these and get rid of my other food storage containers.

I’m a food blogger and spend a great deal of time in the kitchen, so when Rubbermaid decided to send me a set of their new food storage containers for review purposes I was really able to run them through their paces. Over the past few weeks they’ve been stuffed with soup, stew, chili, curry, and other random dinner leftovers with great results. I haven’t had a single leak in my lunchbox yet, which is why these have quickly become my favorite containers for taking food on-the-go. What really makes these different from other latch-style containers is the fact that the seal isn’t removable—it’s attached directly to the lid which eliminates any chance of the seal slipping and allowing wet contents like salad dressing, salsa, or soup to slip through the cracks and all over your lunchbox. This, coupled with the built in vents below the latches that allow you to keep the lid on while warming your food, is what makes the design of these containers so brilliant. As much as I’ve enjoyed these containers they do have one major drawback—they’re incredibly difficult to open, so they may not be the best choice for anyone with impaired grip strength or for smaller children who are still developing their fine motor skills (my five year old really struggles when trying to open these containers and usually ends up spilling the contents everywhere.) I was able to transport my soup to work without spilling a drop. This lock in brilliance container comes in a few different sizes and is super easy to clean. Very versatile and easy to hide from my children who all want their very own container.

The size is perfect for meal prepping and they stack beautifully. As an Influenster I did receive this product free of charge to test out and provide an honest review. I do own some disposable Tupperware and the two are definitely not the same. I absolutely will not be buying anymore disposable Tupperware.

For a busy mom of three kids, having breakfast on the go or right before work starts is my routine. I enjoy my cereals or oatmeal with milk for breakfast but the unending spills in my bag make it less pleasurable. I tried the Rubbermaid Brilliance container with my oatmeal and milk in it and voila, i brought it out at work all dry, nice and clean! I repeated it again with my lunch the other day and my stew did not leak. I only had to pop up the latches to microwave my food without fighting the lid. the vents did the work. For anyone having concerns of spilling food in bag like me, then this is for you. I am getting one for my husband too. It is transparent too, so you see what's inside your beautiful plate. I got this as a sample and I love love love it.

I never thought showing of my pasta and cereal could look so good. As added bonus, everything stays super fresh with these air tight containers! Highly recommend!

Got these a few weeks ago. They’ve been fine for salads and such. Nothing liquid so I don’t know if they leak. Went to microwave and the second round of thirty seconds did this.... The suction of the lids makes it really hard to get the tops off. Went through dishwasher safely. Look nice.

They are air tight and leak proof. They stack well. They are great for the freezer and the fridge as well. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I think they are nice looking and I love storing fruit and basically anything in them.
