These containers are amazing! I can honestly say that Rubbermaid has come a long way through the years. These containers are made of a thicker plastic so they hold up to dents and dings. The lid has a seal on it like no other I have ever seen. It's like a vacuum seal, it's that tight. The lid then clicks on with tabs to make the containers 100% spill proof. As soon as I got the containers, I put some water in them and literally tossed them back and forth with my husband. Not a drop was spilled from it. That's rather impressive. I also really love how they stack so well in the refrigerator and cabinets so I now have more room because they can be stacked. They are also great for tailgating. You can toss some meat and veggies in them with marinade and throw them in the cooler without worrying that they are going to spill all over the rest of your food and drinks. I've also noticed that my produce lasts so much longer when stored in these containers as opposed to other containers, zip top bags, and especially the packaging the produce comes in. Some foods were liquid some food for solids I found it was equally I was good with the liquids as it was with the solids. I also have used in the dishwasher and the microwave and it's held up great it's so nice when used in the microwave that it doesn't get those white blotches on the side like the other containers do. I would definitely recommend this to other people and probably purchase in the future

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I admit I was sceptical when trying the Rubbermaid Brilliance container, I had heard of "leak-proof" containers before but they failed every time. Not this time. I used my container to take soup to work for my lunch and I have to say, even after tossing my lunch bag around a bit and tipping my container, not a drop was spilled! I went to warmup my soup later and the fact that I could leave the lid on and just use the vents to prevent splattering is genius! A++++

I tested the Leak-proof guarantee but flipping the container around a bunch of times with soup inside and there were no leaks! Its so convenient to microwave with the lid on as well because there is no splatter in your microwave and the built in vents allow the air to escape the container. I think this container is a little pricey but If it holds up as well as it seems like it would, definitely worth the price because wouldn't need to replace as often. I haven't tried it with any tomato based food, which tends to stain all my other containers so curious if its actually stain resistant like it says but based on the performance and holding up to the other features it boosts, I'm pretty confident.
