Love this watch!

I've had an Apple watch for several years. Got tired of the same style and features for increasing amounts of money and decided to look around. The Garmin is stylish, light and easy to wear, packed with features I use and pretty easy to navigate once I spent a little time with it. I have an iPhone and was worried about connectivity but it has been great. I can see texts, calls, calendars, etc. Very happy with this purchase.

Good watch but some things I’m frustrated with

I got this a couple weeks ago and it’s pretty solid with battery life and some features like the ekg app. The sleep tracking is terrible with it barely recording any rem for me. It usually says I get less than an hour of rem each night which I know is wrong

Good afternoon! I attached some helpful articles about how our watches track sleep data: • "What is Advanced Sleep Monitoring in Garmin Connect?" - http://ms.spr.ly/6422tRRZo • "Sleep Tracking" - http://ms.spr.ly/6423tRRZU -CF

Venu 3

I very much like the aesthetics of the watch, e.g., size, colors of face, layout. Unfortunately, I do get frustrated with toggling from menu to menu. Programming not intuitive. Most concerning is that I cannot connect to GPS. I think it has something to do with the fact that I workout in my basement.

Perfect balance between a health info and sports

Watch is fantastic for a non Apple user. My main concern was SpO2 which was missing from Apple Ultra 2. Initially I was skeptical however after using it for a while, I believe this can be considered apart from apple. You can play offline music, leave watch at home for a run or trail. The only major thing missing was a cellular connectivity. However its light. Unlike apple heavy watches and filmsy google watches, this one has had many rough days. One of the things ypu wpuld consider is to buy a separate starp as stock one is silicone. Also, there is a mode available for almost any kind of sport you can think of.

Garmin Venu 3 – A Near-Perfect Everyday Companion

After almost a year with the Garmin Venu 3, I can confidently say it's one of the most well-balanced smartwatches I've ever used. It's not trying to be flashy like an Apple Watch or overly technical like some of Garmin's rugged multisport models—it simply works, every day, in a way that feels thoughtful and reliable. What I Still Love: Battery Life: This is where the Venu 3 shines. I regularly get 7–10 days on a single charge with daily workouts and notifications on. It's refreshing to not be chained to a charger. Health Tracking: Garmin's sleep insights, HRV status, and stress tracking have become genuinely useful to me. The morning report and nap detection (which was surprisingly accurate) add real value. Fitness & Recovery Data: Whether it's gym sessions, cycling, or runs, the watch gives detailed, actionable data without drowning you in metrics. The Body Battery feature remains a standout for understanding how well-recovered you are. Build & Comfort: The AMOLED display still looks crisp and bright, and the watch feels light enough for 24/7 wear. The tactile buttons make it easy to use during workouts—something touchscreen-only watches can struggle with. What Could Be Better: Garmin Pay & Smart Features: Contactless payments and notifications work fine, but the smartwatch side of things still trails Apple and Samsung in polish. Sleep Tracking Consistency: While generally accurate, there are occasional nights where the data feels off—especially with shorter naps. Price Point: It's premium, and while it earns most of that price through build quality and metrics, you can find cheaper Garmin models with 80% of the features. Verdict: After nearly a year, the Garmin Venu 3 has proven durable, consistent, and genuinely helpful in maintaining better habits. It's the sweet spot for people who want serious fitness data in a sleek, everyday design.

Watch sensor

My review is based off of the sensor not being accurate with the heart rate goes on and off throughout the day it doesn't catch you're sleeping at night although the watches put on tight but not too tight. It just sucks. I threw away the box. And now I can't get a refund sucks.

great battery life

I have had my Venu 3 for just less than a month now. I have been impressed with its features and especially its battery life. I haven't quite figured out eveything yet for example when I go waling in the morning it seems to be fairly accurate especially compared to what my previous fitbit sense said, However, when I mow the lawn or basically just go places by walking it doesn't seem to track as well. I still haven't figured out the sleep monitoring yet, there are times when i know I have been awake for periods of time at night and in the morning it says I wasn't awake at all. Overall I am still pleased with the watch and have no regrets that I got it to replace my fitbit.

Your Garmin watch uses an internal accelerometer that tracks repetitive walking motions as steps, and there are certain activities that prevent your watch from accurately counting steps. In particular, if you're using a push mower to mow the lawn, your watch is unlikely to track many steps because your arm is not swinging. More on that here: http://ms.spr.ly/6425slfIW As for the sleep monitoring, you may need to adjust some settings in your account. In particular, your sleep window can have a big impact on sleep data. You can read about this feature here: http://ms.spr.ly/6426slfIo If you have any additional questions beyond that, please call 800-800-1020 to speak with a Support representative about these concerns in further detail. *KC

Sleep tracking is not accurate

This is a great product, especially if you want for walking and running maybe for exercise but this is not good product for especially if you want for sleeping sleep tracking I try to compare with Fitbit on this doesn't work as it is and it says it will record the nap, but I never see it record the nap so I returned it

All the features I need

I was looking for a watch that has 10+ days battery life and integrates with my other Garmin products, Edge520 and InReach Messenger+. It provides all the health data I would want and is a decent looking watch at a good price. I do hiking, biking and kayaking. At my age 66, I can choose watch faces that are easy to read while on the go, without needing to put on reading glasses. I like to monitor heart rate, Sp02, and ECG.

Great tracking

I bought this with the impression I could make and take phone calls and text messages with having Apple and that is not the case. I love the tracking features on this phone and will keep it for those reasons. Just wish I would have done a little more research when purchasing it.
