This thing is fantastic. This is my first propane griddle of any kind. It wasn't clear that it's a ceramic griddle. But, reading the manual before buying, I understood that going in. I prepared with all of the right utensils and gear. Build quality and features are top notch. I love the auto temperature control. I don't understand why there aren't more reviews. But, this is an excellent purchase and a great value at any price. For my first griddle, I feel like I won the lottery. Thank you Sam's. Makes my membership totally justified, along with what I save on groceries. You guys rock.

Read the details so you know what you're buying. It's ceramic coated and intelligent which makes this easy to use and keep clean. I will not be maxing out the temp to keep the ceramic coating in good shape so it works well for most cooks but I'll keep my steaks on wood fire.

First off, let me start this review by saying the stock photo is very misleading. With showing utensils that should not be used on this flat top. This flat top is a nonstick coating on it. So you can't really use anything abrasive on it. Silicone high temp utensils should be used. The grill will continue to make a clicking noise the entire cook time. it's clicking on to keep your griddle top at the desired temperature versus staying on the entire time and wasting your gas one, But then two, cooking at such a high temp for longer periods of time will tend to wear away at the your griddle. There is a smaller flame that does stay on to maintain you heat level. overall i'm very impressed with this grill. Assembly was fairly easy, just time consuming. clean up after each use is a breeze. simply use water, mild soap and wipe clean. so far everything we have cooked on it has came out fantastic!

This griddle works great, I have had it for a 6 months now and it is amazing. I love how the griddle automatically keeps the temperature for what you set it at. I am surprised at how even the heat is across the eitire cooking area.

At its current low price, this is a screaming deal. After buying one, I ordered two more as gifts. There are some things to be aware of. Including the pallet it comes on, it's a 300-lb. shipment! Assembly takes a couple hours minimum, even after doing 3 of them. The base cabinet is attractive, but rather flimsy. If the wheels are on an uneven surface, or not perfectly level, the cabinet can flex slightly and make the drawer fronts crooked, and the door for the propane tank will jam at the top or bottom. This may be one reason for the crazy-low price? As long as you're aware of this and know how to deal with it, it's fine considering how much you've saved. As others have mentioned, it's ceramic coated, so no metal utensils should be used, and it's probably best not to run it much over 400 degrees. It's super-easy to clean, I just use a damp paper towel. Highly recommend for those that understand what they're getting.

Looking for advice on the grill. Is it normal for the burners to turn on and off before the grill has reached the designated temperature?

have not used it yet but was disappointed to see that it had ceramic painted cooktop should have read description more carefully didn't realize till had 90% assembled. Would have preferred to just have plain steel that could be seasoned. We shall see.

at first i was absolutely excited about this grill. i loved that the grease trap was in the front. I have huskies and it keeps them out of the grease. What i have about this griddle is that after usuing it only a couple of month the griddle is so cheap. It keeps flaking off and rusting. for the price I feel like that is unacceptable. I will be selling this one and going back to blackstone.

Do not buy grill. Needs to be plugged into an outlet for the starter to work and no mention of that on the product page. Buy a different grill and save the headache.
