I saw this set posted in a Le Creuset Facebook group displayed in a pink crock. I waited a long time for this set to arrive, and it was to be my first and only Lego set. I was disappointed and frustrated that the instructions were printed on a black background that made following them impossible, especially for someone who had never built with Lego. The PDF version was not much better. I played a nearly two-hour step-by-step building video and followed along - then built the second set following the instructions book. I enjoyed building this set so much that I immediately browsed the entire Lego site for more purchases and joined several Lego Facebook groups for inspiration and see what others were building. I'm now nearly three months into Lego and have aspirations to build an elaborate city.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floral Lego set is absolutely amazing! It was so much fun to put together and the instructions were very easy to follow. I was some what of a challenge to put together but so worth it! Each flower group comes in it's own numbered package so you don't have tons of Legos every where. And let's not forget the creativity of the set! These are gorgeous flowers! So hard to believe that they are actually Lego! It was really neat to read about the creators of that set, which made it even more personal for me. Thank you Lego for making such an amazing Lego set!

Told my wife I bought her flowers, she didn’t realize I got her LEGO flowers! She loved this lego flower bouquet which is a very unique gift. They look great in our kitchen! Very fun and easy build! My three year old thinks they are so cool! Definitely recommend!

I loved this bouquet when I first saw it in the catalog! I was disappointed the day I got the catalog, it was already sold out, but glad I was able to be on the wait list! Build was great, flowers look beautiful. The one improvement can be the the manual isn't on BLACK pages. It was horrible! I tried using the online manual, and that was BLACK as well!!! Please never do this again. Had this been something more complex - I may have returned it - would have hated doing that, but it was very difficult to see..

The detailed instructions made it so easy my kids helped. We put them in a vace when we where done and they are so proud of them. I enjoy looking at them myself, thanks Lego!

My family and I have never played with Lego. My husband is retired and we decided, since things are still a little iffy, to try a new hobby. We had a blast!!! Took us about 4 hours to put together, don’t know if that is average or not…we talked a lot while assembling. We are so pleased and can’t wait to try the next set. My only suggestion is to have family booklets. 3 separate booklets for each group of flowers so family members have their own instructions. So fun!!

I received this as a gift and my 5 year old and built it together today. The instruction booklet is black and some of the images were very hard to see/read, maybe next print use more white for backgrounds. We did have a lot of fun and she noticed the Dino wing as a wing right away. She loved it! Now, I'm being picky...I'm a professional gardener and the flowers though sweet, fun to construct and cute but botanically incorrect. Maybe next time, work with a Horticulturist to Botanist and go super nerdy and get it right. Just an idea. I would recommend it for sure and gift it when available again.

This was given to me as an anniversary/Valentine’s gift. We had to go through online searching and phone calls to find what’s probably the last one in town. But it was totally worth it! I just fell in love with it the at the first sight seeing it. The box is so pretty with the arrangement. I had even more fun building it! It was unbelievably therapeutic to build and the little details like the designers’ story and stories about the brick pieces give this set such a nice touch of affection and relatable memories, which is even more necessary and appreciated during this pandemic. Thank you Lego for bringing more color and life to my house!

Reluctantly I am giving this a 3.5 stars –I am slightly disappointed with the set. It is ranked harsher as well because it is not a good set to do anything else; and the building process is not the most interesting. I bought this as part the birthday present to my wife, and I would say the reaction I got was lukewarm at best- she doesn’t quite share my interest in Lego but I was hoping this is one set that she would find interesting; nonetheless, we did spend 3 relaxed sessions building it. Overall, it does bring a nice pop of colours and visual to any room, but there are some aspects that could’ve been better. I had the highest expectation for the roses within the set but found them a little disappointing. While I still enjoy them, and really like the colour (i wouldn't trade this for red, personally), the outer petals’ (car hood pieces) rigid, rectangular 1x2 anti-studs just really stick out like sore thumbs to me. It is noteworthy that in the smaller Roses set (#40460) lego chose to go with small “car roof” pieces for outer petals (which is already used for inner petals); from the pictures it also doesn’t look to be a great solution. I had also been intrigued by the snapdragons, and they turned out to be my favorite with the colours and shape- even if they don’t exactly look much like the real flower. The surprise of the bunch is the California poppy – it’s very simple but has such vibrancy to it. The leafy builds are not super appealing in my opinion. The much-hated black background of the manual didn’t make that big of a difference for me, but I do enjoy the additional info– love to see more, like every page – those who are not interested don’t have to read them.

Out of the different flower %26 botanical sets I’ve built, this one was my least favorite. It’s very pretty, but once completed, parts will easily come off if you’re not careful. I’ve seen people put the flowers in a vase, which looks amazing, but I don’t think it can withstand being upright in a vase without pieces randomly falling off. The piece count to cost ratio is decent. I would recommend waiting until there’s a sale.
