I typically buy fresh thawed cod, but wanted to try these frozen cod filets. For about the same price as fresh thawed, these filets are already portion-sized for you. When thawed in the fridge, they don't have any fishy-smell. They taste great and I love that you can take out however many filets you want. I highly recommend these and will be buying these in the future.

I like thst these are individually wrapped and they are nice sized pieces. The cod cooks up well whether you bake, broil, air or pan fry and has a delicious, mild taste.

This is really delicious and fills my gluten free heart with happiness- oh how I’ve missed fish and chips- and the family doesn’t know they are eating “my” food! It’s so good!

I opened a single packet of cod today. Frozen it looked like a normal roughy rectangular piece of cod. When it thawed it turned out to be a piece of belly folded back and forth to look like a normal cod fillet but was actually a third rate piece of cod. Unacceptable!!!

This cod was very good. It would be even better if it was wild caught. I will be searching for wild caught in the future and buying nothing except that.

The majority of the fish is belly meat and there are few fillets. The belly meat is folded to give the appearance of being fillets.

We have purchased frozen cod from Sam’s in the past and were always very satisfied but the last purchase was disappointing. The filets were not cut properly and left very hard pieces that we had to throw away.
