Great dryer. User friendly.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've only had the LG DLE8200W for a short time, but so far I'm impressed. I've mainly been using the AI Dry setting and it has made doing laundry simple. I can put a load in, select AI Dry, and let the dryer figure out the rest. Everything we've dried so far has come all completely dry and wrinkle free without having to play around with different settings or drying times. We previously had the LG DLE7200W which also works well, but the upgrades moving to this model are nice. The capacity is a good size for our family of four, and the controls are straightforward and easy to use. I'll need more time with it to comment on long-term reliability and some of the other cycles, but based on my experience so far, the dryer has worked exactly as I had hoped.

It can handle larger loads of laundry - which makes washing blankets much more convenient - and it also has an energy saving option as well as AI sensing. It was easy to setup and install, too, so all around a great addition to our laundry days!

Functionally fine, but .....
The only negative thing I have to say concerns the exterior color. I bought this to match the 5.0 cu ft washer of the same brand and configuration in Arctic White. I was disappointed to find that the back panel on the dryer has a slight pinkish tint and does not match the washer. When I questioned Sam's Club about the difference, I was told the only solution is to return the dryer and purchase a replacement. I'd rather live with the slight mismatch than go through the hassles of a return. In addition, I have no assurance that a replacement wouldn't have the same problem. When I buy a matching washer and dryer in the exact same color, I expect it to match. The dryer works just as it should, but be aware that there could be a color difference if purchased to match the washer.
Many Features, Sleek Appearance, Dries Quick!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Super impressed with how quickly and in 1 cycle dries a large volume of clothing. This is a major upgrade to my previous one which still worked, but would need multiple run cycles and would leave a layer of lint on the surrounding area. The delivery was perfect, they installed with the additional exhaust duct that we ordered with it to replace our previous one. The dryer itself looks sleek, I love that you can see into the window (my previous one did not have this) and that the door is reversible!! That is such a great feature because at first I thought I was stuck with opening it the way it was, but realized I can custom it to fit my needs. There are a lot more dials and settings vs. my previous one which is a bit intimidating at first. I’m still playing around with those functionalities to adapt to the best choice for what I’m drying. I also haven’t yet used the wifi feature, but its a nice bonus as it can tell you when your dry time is almost done (nice if you want to do multiple loads back to back). It’s also not noisy at all, which is a great benefit! So far, so good!
