I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. We purchased just about $1,000 worth of this flooring and I must say that this is made very poorly. Basically it's a cheap particle board and chips and cracks easily. Installation was a nightmare too. Tons of boards we're warped or broken right out of the packaging. If your gonna pay as much as we did, you mine as well invest in a better quality flooring such as Pergo. Now we're stuck with $1,000 worth of paperweight as I refuse to install this trash into my home.

As a flooring installer I do not recommend this product. Or any of the product. The locking system is not sound. The product chips easily. The flooring joints tend to creak when you walk around. 
It's a pretty floor covering but that's about it.

I love the way this looks - gorgeous! I also like the thickness and the already attached padding. However, I have never worked with such delicate flooring before. That must be why a lot of the pieces were already damaged, coming straight out of the box! Flooring should not be this delicate! I did lay the bad pieces aside, to see if I could use them later (if I needed one end cut off, and it happened to be the bad end of one of the boards), and I've been able to use quite a few. The club sells a 4-pack of various molding strips, but if you need longer ones, or more of one item, or even stairnose molding, you have to buy it directly from the manufacturer. The club also ran out of these packs very quickly. It's unfortunate that you spend so much money on this flooring, and then when you have to buy from the manufacturer, you get HEFTY shipping charges on top of the inflated prices for the molding strips. You have no other option though! Had I known all of this, I most likely would've went elsewhere for different flooring.

Having regrets

So far, so good! Watching some internet videos helped. What I wish I would have known was that the planks should all be very tight together every single time. One slip here and there causes bigger gaps later. Also, install full horizontal lines, end to end (even if you have joining rooms). If you cannot avoid a small gap (because your home is over 100 years old and nothingbis level), I recommend using a thin bead of Big Stone caulk in the color of Iron Stone...It matches perfectly and is flexible.
