I just received today and tried it out on my 95 lb husky mix, and I wish I would have had this years ago. The vacuum really does help to prevent fur from flying around. The unit itself is petite and does not take up much space. The canister is a bit tricky to first get unattached but each time thereafter is much easier. I like that the filters are washable and reusable. There are 3 vacuum settings that all seem to work well. The low setting is much quieter than a vacuum, the sound is similar to a bathroom fan. I tried all attachments and really like the fur release press and how the vacuum just sucks up the fur. A little bag is included for all the attachments, although a bag for the entire unit would have been nice to have. I wish that the hose was a bit longer and that the dematting tool and rake were an inch wider as a convenience for larger sized dogs. I was impressed by the hair that the canister collects. I'm looking forward to my dog being cleaner in the spring and summer time by being able to vacuum the shedding of her second coat and to collect the dirt and sand from her fur. My dog hates the regular house vacuum but she allowed me to groom her with the furMe which is a win for me. She even let me use the clippers to trim the fur on one of her paws and around her nails. It worked great. It is still early so I can't comment on the durability or longevity of the unit as I've only had the unit for less than 24 hours, but I do hope for the cost that it lasts a long time. I will update my review if I encounter any issues, but for now, this is a purchase that I am glad to have made.
