Wouldn't melt

Thanks for leaving a review. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble making chocolate covered strawberries. Some tips to help you would be: STOVETOP METHOD: Melt 1 cup of morsels and 2 tablespoons of shortening over hot (not boiling) water, stirring until the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Dip fruit about halfway into the chocolate mixture; shake off excess. Place on wax paper-lined tray; chill for 15 minutes or until the coating is set. MICROWAVE METHOD: Microwave morsels and shortening in medium, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave for additional 10 to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Do not like the big morsels. Hard to mix evenly! Dough is raw around them and too done on edges.
