I bought two 77" shelving units. They were very easy to put together. They are very sturdy and seem to be exactly what I wanted. Everything is great about these shelves. HOWEVER, the factory quality control is poor to say the least. Out of the two units, there was damage in both packages. This damage is from the factory because the packaging had no damage at all. One of the cross braces at the bottom of the end piece is bent and twisted. The wire rack had a broken weld. And one of the braces with the big rivets in it was bent and the rivet was smashed when installed at the factory. For the money I spent on these I'd expect a little higher quality of a product. I checked the "NO" for recommend this product to a friend because I'd be embarrassed to recommend a product that may come out of the package damaged from the factory.

We purchased 4 sets of these Gladiator Storage Shelves from a big box store recently and put them together yesterday. About a year ago we had purchased 6 comparable priced, very similar sets of heavy duty shelving - NOT Gladiator brand. We went with the Gladiator Brand this time as my husband has finished out our garage with Gladiator products and they serve us well. Gladiator shelves were not the cheapest, but again we have had good results from the brand and a horrible experience, suffering, assembling the other, not to be named, shelving. We had dreaded putting together the Gladiator units due to how difficult and time consuming the assembly of other brand had been. WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE the Gladiator shelving units proved to be. They really went together quickly, as advertised - no tools needed, no real struggles, all the parts were packaged neatly together and everything was in the box. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL. Again, the Gladiator Shelves were not the cheapest....but they were indeed the best buy.

The Gladiator 77" Shelf Rack is an Excellent product which was so very easy to assemble. It came in a box that was so well pack and organized so that no items moved during shipment. The quality of this product is outstanding and I have no problem recommending this product to anyone!

I have purchased four of these racks for my storage unit. They are competitively priced, very sturdy and simple to assemble. I also have two competitor's racks, which I believe are equal in strength and ease of assembly. However, as far as storage racks go, I find the Gladiator racks more aesthetically pleasing.

I purchase a 72" and 48" in two shipments was not hard to put together but it did take two times. I did want it mobile so I ended up put a 24" bottom plate with swivel plate casters 800lbs. I did try stem caster bolted to the bottom did not work. price was good

I have 8 units so far, actually need a few more, and 2 of them are the 77” versions. I love the look, finish, and durability of these shelves. My only complaint is there are not any 1/2 height versions available. Along 1 wall in our garage we have windows and if we don't want them blocked I'd need 36” tall versions for these other 2 spots.

It's a very good and sturdy shelf, but if you are buying multiple shelves verify the model/part number. I bought 5 shelving units (which was NOT cheap) and evidently Gladiator changed the design slightly and I have some units that are different from the others. I made it work which was not easy, because I wasn't about to repackage, load up and return 5 units to the store. I'm a little upset that I ran into this issue for the money I spent for the shelves. Overall, I do have to say it is a good shelving unit for garages, basements, etc.

I wanted the biggest shelves without worrying about the weight. This fully fits the bill. But... Through shelves are soooo thick that 1/2 my items didn't fit height wise. Some by only a 1/4". FRUSTRATING! All that lost space is why I couldn't give it 5 stars.

the shelves are great I can wait to buy more to finish my shop

Sturdy and easiest one like it to install. Looks great as well
