Hillshire Farm Polska Kielbasa 69 is one of my favorite summer sausages! It is very versatile and goes with a number of different flavor profiles. On cold nights I like to cut it up into small pieces and brown it in a pan, adding stewed tomatoes, onions, garlic and fresh spinach...serving the pan ingredients over jasmine rice. On a hot day I also cook it in a pan but I add some zucchini, peppers and onions and serve it with mashed potatoes or mashed turnips. Any way you serve it this sausage will always be a winner! The fact that it is low carb and relatively low fat for sausage makes it suitable for the diabetics in my home.

I love the smoked flavor of this sausage and it works great to add to any meal. Use it as a substitute for ground meat or spice up your pasta dishes with it. You could even throw it in a pan of macaroni and cheese for a one pot quick dinner idea. Definitely recommend

I use sausage a lot recently. Some of my husbands favorite recipes require sausage and it's just nice and easy and since it's already cooked I don't have to worry about cooking it completely I can focus on other things. Our favorite is to chop it up and sauté it with onions, squash, and zucchini. I throw in a bit of Cajun seasoning and it's fantastic!

This sausage is so easy to use and adds flavor to everything. I use is to make spaghetti, include is with smothered cabbage, of course in gumbo, with BBQ sauce for a wonderful sandwich, in the morning with eggs (sometime I chopped the sausage into small pieces, cook and then scrambled with eggs. I have depended on it for years and love to include the sausage instead of other meats into other meals. Of course, enjoying a piece lightly fried for breakfast is always a great choice.

we love the hills Shire farm smoked sausage in our red beans and rice if they are delicious it tastes really good I don't think I would improve this product at all I think it's a good value and it tastes really yummy I would recommend this product to others definitely

This is the only sausage I USED to buy for my casseroles. This sausage has changed in texture and taste within the last year to a very poor imitation of the former Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage. It feels gelatinous and has a very minimal taste. You have lost a long time customer. I remember the old commercial you used to advertise saying you didn't use fillers for a profit or something to that effect. You can't say that now. I would not recommend this product ever again. Sorry.

This sausage cooks up nicely, the spices are great, the smokiness in it is just the right amount and the texture is awesome. I hope that the casing is natural. I love everything about this product. If there are any other products that is coming out I would love to try samples of it.

If you slice this up, and sautée first, it is wonderful to add to your pasta sauce. Now that we're all living on basics and what is available, this can change up the routine a little. I'd probably prefer less salt and better-for-you ingredients, but that would change the flavor I'm sure.
