This garbage pail was purchased after I had the floor tiles done and my kitchen painted. I couldn't have a dented stainless steel pail anymore with everything else looking great. I looked around for one and saw many that were very expensive. The price was great and the shipping was $1.97. I couldn't beat that. It came a couple of days later and I was very happy with it (appearance wise). It is a very nice looking pail. The only problem that I have had with it, is that sometimes it only opens half way. So far so good, but it is only a few weeks old.

This trash can is worth the price I paid. It replaced another that was all worn out, and now it shines in our kitchen. We have to remind ourselves not to come too close while passing, as the sensor opens the can quickly. We are satisfied completely, and highly recommend it.

My household seems to enjoy throwing the trash away instead of leaving it where they made the trash. They love the way this can automatically opens and closes. The only thing is that I now have to stay stocked up with D batteries. While I do keep stocked up with AA, more kinds are okay. Whatever it takes.

This was a great purchase!!! It was out of stock at all Sams Clubs, then I found it online at Walmart (at a better price too)..My kids had fun trying it out too...so cool they said! My friend is buying one now after she saw mine. I LOVE THIS BEAUTIFUL TRASH CAN!!! No problems whatsoever

The 13 gallon Nine Star slim trash can with motion sensor has been a great purchase, so far (it has only been a month). It arrived a week before the scheduled delivery date, the packaging was AWESOME (custom fitted with styrofoam inside the can as well as outside the can in the box to prevent shipping damage), it has performed flawlessly to date and is compact enough in size to not overwhelm our small kitchen. Even my husband likes it and it took me six months of convincing him to let me try it out!

I was very impressed with the quaility of the trashcan. We bought it Thanksgiving day and got a heck of a deal on it. Totally worth what we paid! I was most pleased with how much trash it holds, yet doesn't take up much more room than others I have had. Very pleased.

I've had the product for a couple of weeks now and am very pleased. I like that the trash bag is hidden from the outside view. The overall appearance is very good. I don't find it overly sensitive such that it opens when I walk by. And it is tall enough such that my cat and dog don't trigger it. Hopefully, it will hold up. If it does, it's a great bargain!

I saw this at someone's house and so I read the reviews on this and several similar cans. This was by far the most reasonably priced and I watched the video on the manufacture's website before I purchased it. I took into account the issues that many others had with it and I have this to say: 1. IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE GETTING USED TO. I had to figure out the best way to set off the sensor (so that my hand did not get in the way), and the amount of time I had before the lid would close. For the most part it is perfect, and if I find I need more time I make sure to keep something in front of the sensor or just push the "open" button so it stays open as long as I want it to (like when I'm scraping all my dishes and loading the dishwasher). It does open sometimes when I don't mean to, but I have it in a high traffic area and it doesn't seem to bother me like it did other reviewers. It's quiet, and if the trash smells bad it's time to take it out... A couple of times I simply turned it off or repositioned it. (It does keep the smell of the garbage in the can nicely when it's closed) 2. MY KIDS WERE FASCINATED. My older children figured it out quickly and have no problem with it (ages 6-12); however my almost 3 year old son would set it off and then force the lid closed. I didn't want him breaking it so I just turned it off and he quickly lost interest. It hasn't been an issue since. One thing no one else mentioned was there is a tab you can use to open the lid manually if it is turned off. 3. MY DOGS DON'T DIG IN THE TRASH. This was my initial reason for purchasing this item. I have a 200+ pound English Mastiff and a Doberman and they would both dig in the trash. So far, I have had no more messes all over my kitchen floor! I don't think they can smell it as well as my last one (Sterilite brand) and they can't get their nose under the lid (it rests flush against the top). And the top sits nice and securely on the base. They don't set it off even though their food and water is less then 4 feet away from it, and I think it would probably scare them off if it did. That alone has made it worth the little effort to get used to an automatic lid. 4. FYI. The regular brand of bags all fit (I have used Glad, Kirtland, and some no name I had under the sink. They all fit fine.) If you have trouble, watch the video on the manufacture's website and see how they load the bag around the inner ring. I love not seeing the plastic bag hanging out of the can. All in all I'm happy I bought it. Happy Mother's Day to me :)

I was surprised how nice this trash can was for the value. I purchased a different one from a major store I had it for five years it finally gave out. I saw Walmart had a one day sale online and decided to buy one in fact I bought two one for my daughter and one for us, I'm so glad I did. Thanks for selling such a great product. We were so pleased with the size and shape of this pretty garbage can(whoever would've thought I'd say pretty garbage...huh?) I was searching for awhile and pricing them everywhere and they were double the price! The sensor works wonderfully and when you step away it shuts on it's own...yay!! We are thrilled!
